it's a movie so bad it's good. the premise is killer clowns from outer space. they capture the village people, wrap them in cotton candy cocoons and store them aboard their spacecraft, which is disguised to look like a big top. do they get away with their nefarious activities? will a plucky earthling save the day?? it's a MUST see

Scare me, you do not.
I did mention that I based my appraisal exclusively on the movie.
I remember watching him get cut in half and falling down the "emperor-like" well and thinking; "That's IT?"
Plus, talk about a lack of character development, by the time Darth Vader cut down Obiwan in the original film, we already hated him. He was a badass. We were never given a chance to see the darkside of Darth Maul. He looked scary and had a killer saber. Where were the decapitated kittens? He did take out Qui-Gon, a master Jedi, and only gor beat by Obi-Wan because he got caught slipping. The boy was bad from the beginning but got taken out to elevate Obi-Wan quickly, and from a practical standpoint, Maul was too young for Vader to plausibly replace.
BUT . . . he's coming back. Maybe not for long but he's coming back . . . in the Clone Wars series, each of which (serial version and full-length version) are better than I and II combined. He'll presumably train Savage Oppress, who's a Shaq-sized version of Maul.

Darth Maul was way too contrived and unrealized to be badass. There was simply no magic. Darth Vadar was not only a costume, he was a character.
I just watched The Terminator again, and what a perfect use of an actor that was! And I heard Arnold was to be cast as the hero, and it was him who suggested that he would be best as the Terminator. So he gets credit for that.
Actually the T2 guy was pretty good too--and not attempting to be a copy of Arnold in the slightest. A combination blob/computer. Very good.

Ooh, I forgot about that guy! He looked like the kind of cop who'd rescue your cat out of a tree, and next thing you know, he's impaling you on a spike that two seconds ago was his arm!

They were the first ones that popped into my head lol How terrible was that film? I didn't watch it all . Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

BEST
WORST
the aliens of Independence Day, I mean, they thought they were so badass, unstoppable and smart, but in the end they were defeated by a Windows95 virus lol
oh, and if we're including videogames, here are the BEST (don't know any lame sci-fi videogame villian of relevance...)

I didn't watch it all either.
Actually, I found many of the themes interesting, and I loved the way that they showed how humans "heard" the aliens and how the aliens "heard" humans. Definite kudos for that (don't know if that's ever been done before or since). By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

OH YEAH...the original Terminator was badass. From the moment he "landed" and punched his fist right through that dude to steal his clothes up 'til the end when his severed/crushed carapace is stil clawing its way to Sarah Connor...it's awesome.

The "Dark Star" or "Evil" from The Fifth Element, maybe the most underrated sci-fi flick of the last 20 years, was pretty menacing. I'd have to put "it" up there. None of the other villains on this list would stand a chance against it. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
