So if you had money to blow on a sports car, what would you get?

Ferrari?

Lamborghini?

Porsche?

Personally I would look for something unconventional.

Like the Chrysler Prowler

(no longer made, but still a cool "weird looking" car)

...or the Lotus Elise

...or being an American, I would try to find something not available on the mainland,

like an Alpha Romeo,

Not a sports car by any stretch of the imagination, but pimped-up just right, that could def be a mac-daddy set of wheels.

The "weirdest" car I've wanted is this;

A Vespa 400.

Probably drives as you would expect for a car made by a scooter company would...but I'm sure Jay Leno probably and Jerry Seinfeld both own one or two in their collections.

I'm an urban subway taker and cars aren't even part of my vocabulary for the last 10 years. But I do like vintage-y stuff...so if I were in a sunny place and fully retired, I'd go for a '68 Karmann Ghia.

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Definitely up there for me, too.

Lotus Elise, ditto.

But I also like a bit of comfort, so I'd go for an Aston Martin DB9, or the Rapide.

I was lucky enough to test drive the new Sport Clio and it is indeed a lot of fun. A hell of a car!

Don't really like Lamborghini, Ferrari or Corvettes, I somehow always associate them with pimps, rather than with stylish gentlemen, who just happen to have a really cool, stylish and not too attention-seeking car. Plus, less is often more when it comes to sports cars, in my opinion.

It's funny, because I started my post by saying that I had "simple taste". I don't think Vettes are that flashy, compared to other sports cars.

Also, I am a very stylish LADY, and I'm sure that owning one would not diminish that.
