A friend of mine asked me for a few suggestions because he wants to improve his English, so I made this list. The first links are purely language related and most of them are German based ( though not all of them, so you may want to take a look at them because there´s some interesting stuff there like those websites for synonyms.Quite unusual and interesting).

So I made this list for him. Most of these websites are websites that I visit pretty often. I haven´t put the org or other social networks or forums on the list because that would´ve been too personal (like websites that are dedicated to certain hobbies, aquariums, bicycles and whatnot).

Soooo....what are your favorite websites? Not necessarily language related or political, just INTERESTING and weird or strange or unusual websites. Are there any interior design websites that you visit? Maybe something for the layman who doesn´t want to spend a fortune or doesn´t live in a big mansion? By the way, I´ve always wondered how you manage to follow pretty much every current American TV show and stay up to date. Do you watch them via satellite or online?

I use certain websites with streams for that but I don´t want to post anything illegal here (don´t really know about the legal issues to be honest). If there are any links you´d recommend, please orgnote me. If you´d like to know which ones I use, I can send you some.

I think escapefromamerica.com is going to be my favorite website, ever. I still haven´t found my place yet...that site might help me.

Yes for my frogs (its a small tank only 12 gallons)... which are now dead because I thought I added tetras... found out they are tiny yellow barbs that eat dwarf frogs. My kids are upset, they wiped out over 6 frogs in a month. Freggin lil' mosters.

Now I have to re-establish new froggies and do something with these damn pirahna-ish teeny yellow fish. If I known I would have kept my pea-puffers and skipped on the frogs.

They ate my two butterfly loaches too. The guys at my fish store suck!

I have the tank mostly for the plants, but the kids love the frogs. Gotta wait til they get more in stock now.

I think most of those plants are for freshwater tanks... love the coral of the saltwater ones!

I guess that was JerseyKRS´s tank. He´s got a saltwater tank. Mine is just a good old freshwater tank.

This is an old pic though, I have replaced the red gravel with white coral sand, looks nicer and is better for the inhabitants. And I have waaaay more plants now, they´ve grown a lot.

I also have a smaller tank with cichlids (shell dwellers, cute little cichlids who live in small "villages" separated by rocks). The red dudes are mangrove crabs. They can´t live without a dry part though, so it is more of an aquaterrarium than a plain aquarium.

I´m setting up a much bigger and more beautiful tank these days...should be ready in a few weeks.

Oh, you mean the ramirezi? It´s some sort of South American cichilid. I prefer my African cichlids though, they are soooo social and cute and constantly redesigning the tank by digging in the sand and spitting it out again.
