New YouTube accounts - help

Can you open a new YouTube account with a Yahoo address or does Google just force you to open a new one with a Gmail account?

You can sign with a different email address but you have to have it linked with Google so it'll be assumed as a Gmail account.

i know boxed I just have a couple of different YouTube accounts and they were started before Google got involved but I never really used them. I deleted them this week but now YT won't let me use any names from before even though they have been deleted.

Vimeo is not complicated as YouTube. One username, one password. Pretty simple.

No and I wouldn't want to. lol I heard it's not much unless you're preferentially treated.

I got offered one of those "partnerships" on one of my videos, but I declined because I'd probably get in trouble (I reposted a WWE match and it got alot of hits).

It's my understanding that you get paid for those ads running below your videos if you agree to the partnership, which is offered to you once your video gets a certain number of hits. They can't possibly be that picky since they offered it to me, and my video technically violated the rules.

There's people who make stupid videos who rake in ALOT of dough based on their millions of viewers.

Yeah I had thought about making money but knowing how YT is with their copyright rules, no way in hell I would agree to it. I've been disillusioned recently with posting music on there and just rather go back to surfing on videos and commenting like I did prior to 2009. lol

I wonder how much Tay Zonday gets paid for his videos or how much B. Scott gets paid for his. Or Chris Crocker (though I don't know if he still does videos anymore since he posted some porn pics not too long ago) or "The Fake Skorpion Show". lol
