Wesley for me is the perfect exmple of character development in a TV Show. He started out as a nerdy watcher, by the books and tight as hell. He started Angel as a guy trying to be tough & demon fighter but he was a fairy really lol

He grew to be a badass fighter, aggresive & a leader. He really changed from Buffy to the final season of Angel.

I agree I love how they changed and developed Wesley, but I still give it up to Willow. When I watch Buffy now to me its really all bout how Willow goes from quiet geeky wallflower to full on Big Bad giving Buffy a beat down to Warrior Goddess. She is probably my all time favorite character of any show. Plus she has on of the best lines.

Oh hell yeah! to awkward high schooler, to lesbo Xena esque butt kicking Witch Godess is quiet an amazing transition!

This is honestly why i can not watch shows like C.S.I i feel the characters are the same every season.

I didn't realize there were more. From what I understand 'After the Fall' is suppose to pick up where the 5th season left off, so it's more like the 6th season. The Senior Partners are so angry that they end up sending the entire city of LA to hell, I had to laugh at that one, but from what I've gathered so far it's a little nutty, in that realm Wesley and Cordelia exist is some form or other, well the whole team changed in some ways. I read the synopsis and it's sounds a little too crazy for me to get into.

I ended up getting into Angel because it sydicated in the morning when I was getting ready for work, I somehow got into it kind of by accident then I started liking it and became a faithful watcher every morning, I think they looped it about 10 times and I watched it everytime.

Yes, the Buffy series is currently in season nine in print and this new Angel and Faith series runs concurrently with it after the After The Fall story. So I guess you could say this is Angel season seven.

My feelings on the TV series:

Buffy was the overall better series, but there were times during the later seasons of Angel when it was better than Buffy.

I liked that Cordelia was moved over to Angel away from Buffy, but thought the idea of making her and Angel a couple was far-fetched and kinda lame. So I was happy when she died. I heard Charisma Carpenter was having personal problems at the time so maybe that's why Cordelia was killed.

Do you mean in the After the Fall series? I haven't read that far into it yet. Where I am right now, the dragon is Angel's pet.

I remember in the series finale just before they went to war Angel said he always wanted to kill a dragon, which was flying overhead.

Yeah, Angel tames the dragon at the beginning of the series. The story is interesting in that all the stops were pulled since a TV budget was no longer a concern. Los Angeles could be transformed into hell, a dragon could become a regular character, etc.

Cool. I see there are a few continuation books. I saw an awesome fight scene between Angel and Faith on youtube, that girl pulls no punches, though I don't know her full story she did get her 'healing' on the Angel series, so I can see them working together.

Sitting here watching "Graduation Day, Pt. 2" episode of Buffy...

It was hilarious that Wesley got taken out as soon as the fight began, and was on the ground asking for help as the fighting was going on. Then afterward he was on the stretcher begging for a pain killer.

I finally started re-watching it a bit & Buffy. Still love the shows cool

But i have to say Wesleys ''i loved her first'' attitude towards Fred is annoying.
