High School Crush/Sweetheart I ran into my high school crush at Starbuck's this morning, it brought back all those feelings again haha We were always friends, but I never had the nerve to tell him I liked him. I was thinking about telling him then, we exchanged numbers... should I? Do you all have any stories to share about your high school crush(s)? "Would you hold it agaisnt me, if I said I loved another?" ♥

At a class reunion (20th) years ago, I told one of the guys in my class that I'd had a huge crush on him. He asked, "Why didn't you ever say anything?" I looked him like he was nuts and said, "Well, you were dating so-and-so - and I knew you never would have asked me out." He shook his head, chuckled a little, and said, "Y'know...you're right." We actually had a laugh over it.
He was a nice guy then - and still is (which I why I felt like I could tell him). He's lost most of his awesome hair, though. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

When I was 14 or 15 a new guy started at our school. He was really cool, handsome and and all-round nice guy. He was popular right away and everyone liked him. Of course, I thought he was way out of my league. We never really interacted at school (although we were in the same Science class) but we walked the same way home from school and he'd often wait for me and walk me home. This happened for about 2 years and the whole time, even though we talked and laughed all the way home, I still always thought he was out of my league.
A few years after leaving school I bumped into one of his best friends who told me that this guy had a massive crush on me, but never dared ask me out incase I said no.
I was so gutted.
