When this happens to me I don't answer. Applies to phone calls too. If I see a number I don't recognize on my cell, I don't answer. If it's anything of importance then I expect whoever it is to leave a voicemail message, if not, then I don't worry about it and go on about my business.

i was on a date. i dont like dating anyhow, so i was watchin his every move. he was the type of guy that had to feel your vibe or else he was walking. he was fun to be around, but not that night. he was very quiet, resereved, somewhat withdrawn. we resolved to the quiet and watched a movie when the phone rang....curiousity does kill the cat, cause i just had to know who was on the phone disturbing my already sorta tense date. some chick was on the line with an attitude about us hanging out, watcha doin, etc. etc. I asked, who are you? come to find out she was random with a wrong number, but since i was used to guys having extra chicks on the side, i asked him if one of his friends got ahold to my number. he denied it, but i didnt believe him, so he left, which was just as well cause all that quiet shyt was getting on my nerves.....

These can be fun. I think the strangest for me was a call I got from construction workers in the mall telling me they weren't gonna be finished on schedule. I was like "ok... " always good to know I guess

Very odd that you post this topic because just YESTERDAY I received a text from a stranger saying "How are you?" and I wrote back "Hey, sorry I don't have your number saved to my phone, who is this?" (thinking that it's someone I knew but who's number I just didnt have) and they wrote back something to the effect of "I want you to breed me" and I'm thinking "WHAAAT?? WTF???" so I wrote back "Ummm I think you have the wrong number. Please don't txt me again". And they just said "Ok"... but Im still kinda confused. Why would someone txt that.
