As a Raider fan who is still holding a grudge over the " tuck " rule, I'm elated that NY won, that evil empire in Mass deserves nothing for another twenty years. Right on GIANTS, get wild in Times Square.

Yea, Raiders got ripped off on that one!

The Madonna discussion thread is locked.

Ok so....I watched it on YouTube, someone filming it on their phone from the tv.

I won't disparage it yet but I'll say that as a piece of theatre, it was brilliant. The dancing, the music, visuals, the costumes, the stage, all that stuff. Brilliant. I really liked the screen floor thingy. Wicked. I think Madge should have a Broadway show or a Vegas show and bring exactly what she did tonight (and more) to that kind of show. No one can bring it like her when it comes to that stuff.

Now the cons.....it's a crying shame that she had to bring all that stuff in the first place to make up for the fact that she probably can't carry a show like that by herself. And bringing the younger artists on feels like she is searching for relevance again. And as for the lip-synching.....terrible.

My two cents.

GREAT 4TH QUARTER.

so tense, I had to stop eating my dinner..

that 4th quarter is why

I LOVE NFL FOOTBALL SO MUCH.

looked like the Giants might dominate..

at the end of the 1st quarter

but the Patriots fought back

Brady was solid for the most part

other than that INEXPLICABLE interception he just

threw up there..

that was big..

& then Welker droping that pass

he had to twist around to get it

& it was a little high..

but like I always say:

if you can touch it

you can catch it..

though he doesn't "look like it"

Eli IS an ELIte QB

he's proved it again & again

including on the game's biggest stage.

so even though I'm a DIE-HARD

midnight-green-bleeding

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES FAN

FOR LIFE..

congratulations to the Giants

on winning #4

of our 3 division rivals

I can most tolerate seeing the G-men

winning the Lombardi

now.. only

SEVEN LLLLLLOOOOONNNNNGGGGG MONTHS

until there's more NFL FOOTBALL that COUNTS.

(sigh)

I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

AMEN TO THAT, Abdul..

of course.. I'm NOT holding my breath on the Eagles drafting some

GOOD

players on defense.

then, heaven knows how Castillo will do as d-coordinator this year

after a horrible 1st half of the season..

again - props to the Giants for winning SB XLVI..

but they won ONLY 1 MORE regular season game than we did..

what the..???

(sighs again

& shakes head wistfully..)

I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

My brother's a diehard Eagle fan, so he's not too happy today. But he's right when he said the Eagles were the team no one wanted to face in the playoffs. They were coming on strong near the end of the season. Had they finised in a 3-way tie, they win the division. They have to concentrate on defense and the o-line during the off-season, and keep Vick healthy for 16 games. Giants are lucky Eli's been an ironman - dude got pounded by the 49ers, but he kept on tickin'.
