Was this the one with Mos Def? Or was that "Cosby Unsolved Mysteries" or something? I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

i really appreciated and enjoyed watching the Cosby show TV series. it was great to watch black actors doing light hearted comedy with oft times serious subject matter. most of all it was great watching black actors in a series minus the eye-rolling, odd-gestures/postures, loud talking and undignified displays of buffoonary and brainless quibbling. (buffoonary imo is much of what is displayed in today's black comedy series - it's what the writers and sponsors love to present to the tv public. aka; keep that image alive!)

Haven't seen it in years but, man, some of those episodes were damn funny.
-The episode in which Theo claims he wants to be a regular guy so Cliff turns the house and the family into 'the real world' for Theo.
-Gordon Gartrell
-The anniversary episode with the lip syncing
-And a later episode (and I didn't really care for the later episodes) where Vanessa lied so she could go have "big fun" and caught the wrath of Claire when she got back.
-When Theo got his ear pierced.
Didn't really care for the show once Olivia came on board. Or cousin Pam.

I was a little bit burned out on Cosby after The Cosby Show.
I remember flipping channels and coming across it, and Jeffrey Osborne was singing The Woo Woo Song to Cosby's wife, and I thought, "no thanks"
But I still like Bill Cosby. I saw a standup of his from just a few years ago that I thought was great. I actually cried from laughing at one point. My Legacy

My brother and I managed to get tickets to a taping in the late 90s, where Tony Bennett was the guest star. The elderly ladies sitting near us were in a tizzy over that.
Besides Tony Bennett, I honestly don't remember much about that episode. I'd never been to a sitcom taping before and was intrigued by the behind-the-scenes production process it takes put it together.

oh okay, i stand on correct-ness
it's this cast - Cosby
Although my life was super-busy at the time 'Cosby' was aired, I got a chance to view it a couple of times. It was still Cosby smooth. I will always applaud Bill Cosby for his dignified presentations and the mostly true and positive depictions of everyday people. also i've always been impressed with the down to earth and self respecting verbiage the characters shared in this show.
luvs me some Cos'

Was not a fan of the show. I didn't like the roles and how older people where supposed to act like. I wont act as old as they did in that show even when I'm 90. But I still am a fan of Mr. Cosby. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
