My parents-in-law are currently in Barbados and they're having a great time apparently. So that would do me just fine right now.
But i'm going to Amsterdam in April
[img:$uid]http://sightstovisitinamsterdam.blinkweb.com/uploads.00173605/00229688.jpg[/img:$uid]
and then Turkey in July
[img:$uid]http://ayushveda.com/blogs/travel/files/2009/11/antalya-beach.jpg[/img:$uid]
and then Florida in October/Nov

So I have lots to look forward to
That's awesome. I love having vacations planned in early on so I can really look forward to them. It doesn't have to be impossible to go on more than one per year either, especially if you know someone in the country you're going to so you can stay with them. Plus there are lots of cheap flights within Europe these days.

I always like to have at least one trip to look forward to.
This year we're taking a break from spending money on the house so we can do a few other things we need to do.
And it's not as expensive as I thought - the flights to Amsterdam are cheaper than it would cost me to get a return train journey into London at peak times - and i'm less than 2 hours away from London. It's crazy! |

Let's all take a small vacation, wherever you want to go!
I actually took a small vacation, last week, for 5 days to beautiful Sevilla, Spain, where it was a lovely 20 degrees with sunny skies...

Hotel San Gil in the la Macarena neighboorhood.

Sevilla is close to Cádiz.
And Córdoba, Granada, Malaga, Ronda...
You can have a wonderful time there. |
