Apparently, actor Michael Fassbender had a good time -- a really good time -- at this week's GQ afterparty for the London premier of his latest film A Dangerous Method.

Stories suggest Fassy was bouncing off of the walls, goofing around with fans, tinkering on piano, and grabbing co-stars Keira Knightly and Viggo Mortensen for ballroom dances around London's swanky 34 restaurant. Gordon Smart, of the UK's Sun tabloid newspaper, even reported the actor was asked to leave the restaurant when he became unmanageable and decided to smoke a cig up in the place. Many news outlets have picked up the story.

But GQ Literary Editor Olivia Cole recently has come to Fassbender's defense, saying he never was asked to leave. (What privately booked restaurant would really do that anyway, short of him trying to burn the place down? ) “Dear (journalist) Gordon Smart of The Sun," Cole tweeted this week, "your story about Michael Fassbender at GQ’s party on Tuesday is complete fiction. Check your facts. We were glad he was there and no one was asked to leave early, but hey, feel free to just make it up.”

One thing's for sure, though: Fassy was ultimately piggybacked out of the party by a friend.

I've loved him ever since Fish Bowl (or Fish Tank...whatever the name of that movie was). His sexual charisma is off the charts. He's a great actor, too. It's too bad he didn't get nominated for an Oscar this year...I didn't love Shame--I thought it was very flawed--but he's amazing in it.

Looks set to be a massive star.

The word"massive" also came to mind when I saw him nude in the film Shame.

That's to say he was nude in the film, I wasn't nude while I watched it.

He was in 300??? Damn it! I mustve been paying too much attention to Gerard.. I didn't get into Michael F until XMen tho.. He's fuckin hawt!
