Whether its a mother, brother, sister, father, cousin, friend, stranger, etc. etc. What would you think of someone making that statement to you? And how would you reply?

I guess it depends on who said it and how I felt about that statement.

I don’t think anyone in my life knows me better than I know myself at this stage of the game, but there were times in my life that may have been true. Mostly because I was in denial about something or just wasn’t paying attention or whatever.

A stranger? I'd laugh. Or ignore them. Depends on the context.

I'd listen.

I think when people say that sort of thing, what it really means is that they are fully aware of something you're trying to keep hidden.

My sweetie and one of my close friends are masters at this. They always know if something is bothering me, no matter how hard I try to keep it off the table. I tend to be one of those people who doesn't talk about things that are going wrong. I prefer to keep them to myself, deal with or fix them myself and not burden other people with them. My whole life is built around being "the one nobody ever has to worry about."

But these two are exceptional at knowing when "the rock" is about to crumble.

This how I was thinking of replying; of course I could do a pg version of f (like the way cee-lo has fu song and a fu/forget u song.

If it was God telling me that, then I'd believe it.

Otherwise, I'd listen to them but I doubt they know me better than I know myself.

I'd think they're good at seeing my 'tell'. Especially if it's someone who's known me for years, I wouldn't think they'd know specific details about me, but would be aware of my behavior and how to manipulate it a bit. If it's a stranger or someone I haven't known for a long time, I'd naturally become cautious and a bit subconscious.

Well first I'd chuckle...

And then I'd be like..

"You only think you do."

NOBODY knows me better than me, except myself and God.

I would know that they don't have any idea what they're talking about. And then I would tell them they should probably spend some time getting to know themselves.

My ex-ex bf used to tell me that and still does to this day. My response? You think you know me, but you have no idea.

My ex in many ways knew me better than I knew myself and I knew him better too in many ways than he knew himself.

my husband knows me very well, sometimes he'll point out something that i don't realize about myself. sometimes i doubt myself, and he always reminds me of my inner strength.

Nobody knows us better than we know ourselves, but it is very easy to look at someone and see something that they are not able to see about themselves.

There's only one person, I would ever consider having any truth behind the statement.

He's now dead, so I would ignore anyone saying that to me now.

Very much me.

My curiosity would be piqued...so I'd entertain their lunacy.

i would ask them to take on all my responsibilities, problems and bills of course

then when they break down i'd say... 'welcome to my world baby"

depending on who it was, i might listen. by stating that they know me better....they might be trying to tell me somthing i need to know.

of course depending on what they say i'd either ignore their assessment or delve deeper into what it is they wanted me to know.

Absolutely, of course it depends on the context but at the very least it is always good to know how you are seen by others. If you belive it or not, well, that is up to you.

I think that many people would be surprised that they do not necesrily know themselves as well as they think they do or would like tho think they do.

only way i would take that statement serious was if jesus christ himself told me otherwise id say kiss my black ass. most people that make statements like that dont know themselves that way 2 be making assestments on others.
