Any one have AppleTV?

Putting aside the I hate Apple vs I love Apple war for the moment, do you have it?

Does it do what you want? What doesn't it do that you wish it would?

I heard you could get a couple of apps for your iPhone/iPad that enables it to be used as a remote, and also an app for your computer that lets it convert file formats (ie. MKV) on the fly as you stream.

If you have another device, I don't mind hearing about it, but really I want info about AppleTV thanks!

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

I don't, but I was thinking of getting a Roku which is similar.

I have heard Roku may specifically be better for Netflix, which is why I want it, but that Apple TV may be better for those who have iPhones.

I don't think Netflix even factors into my equation.

I feel the same, I don't have cable TV or a landline and I split my internet bill with 4 others.

But I do have Netflix, and with a $50 Roku I could stream Nexflix for $8/month instead of getting DVD's for like $20-$25 a month

I think they all have the access to to the various online TV/movie stations, but you need subscriptions

I'm getting it just for Netflix, and that is enough for me.
