I know it looks impressive, but this rat is an example of "something closer to the lens looks bigger" phenomenon, last creeping out the masses with camel spiders from Iraq.
Look at the thickness of the dustpan's handle - that's your reference for size, NOT the guy holding it
And just for old time's sake

see?
nice... but in the pic with the rat...thats not a dustpan he's holding with the rat on it..its more like a yard tool.. 'why y'all trying to say goodbye? I didn't go anywhere, I'm right here, im all around you,always..'
in a line from my dream, I heard a voice and saw a silhouette in a chair.. |

It is an African rat, a pouched rat-they get as big as 2 feet. One of them was killed at Brooklyn's Marcy Projects last year-it was the same size and white. They are very docile and don't see well. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries." |

NYC has always had a rat problem. They're even seen on the train tracks. The Brooklyn's Marcy Project area, I am familiar with that area. My sister and brother-in-law used to run a beauty and barber shop there. Then they gave it up, and moved south. |

You're right about that, and they have been known to roam the platform. I thought by now, they have found ways to resolve this issue with rats |
