Why do some people wear sungless indoors? And, no not referring to the lenses that change dark to light.

Anyone out there in orgland wear their sunglasses indoor?

*I should mention that one of the Docs I work with wears his all the time.

When my eyes are swollen from bad allergies I don't take off my sunglasses because they help shield my eyes from pollen that gets indoors also. I only have sunglasses since I do not wear glasses.

That and I do not want people asking me who beat me up.

Otherwise, I never wear sunglasses indoors.

I wear mine inside sometimes if I've come from outside and didn't bother to change, like at the store. They are progressive bifocals, so as long as I can see, I'm good.

And before someone offers advice: I hate when people tell me that I should get the ones that change from dark to light... Why do people feel the need to say what someone else SHOULD do? I get 2 pairs of glasses for a reason.

I will wear mine inside if I want to remain incognito when I dont have any makeup on...

I wear mine inside, but that's only because the lenses are made out of a special ruby-quartz,
which are the only things that can keep the powerful energy beams that I emit from my eyes in check, yo.
If I didn't wear 'em, everytime I opened my eyes, crimson energy in the form of an optic-blast would pound whatever was in front me into powder. Including my computer. Which I need because it is the device that utilize in order to be able to electronically commiserate with you guys.
So y'know.....

This. I need my glasses to see and sometimes the time I'm going to spend inside is too short to bother going into my purse and changing specs. If I'm making a 10-minute trip to the grocery store early on a Sunday morning, it's nobody's damn business which glasses I have on - especially considering some of the slovenly get-ups I see others in. They want me to change glasses when they can't even be bothered to get out of their damn pajama bottoms and put on proper pants before they leave the house.

...it takes a person of a "certain age" to recognize!

Usually because I have just come indoors or just about to go outdoors, and I just don't bother to take them off immediately.

Sunglasses are also addictive, so I wear them in a room with a bright window or on a cloudy day

hmm certain lights make my eyes..i don't know..

Possibly he has eye concerns like those mentioned above: allergies, sensitivities, etc. Maybe he's checking everyone out? I really don't know I just find it kind of strange because its all day, every day.

I think most who wear sunglasses occasionally keep them on when traversing outdoor to indoor for short periods, but constantly in the workplace just seems a little odd to me. No biggie.
