Where are/were you to ring in the new year? I'm in New york city at the 24-hour 5th Ave Apple Store right now. It's 8:37 p.m. Gonna bogart myself as close as possibile to Times Square in an hour or two for the ball drop. Happy New Year! [Edited 12/31/11 17:41pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

At home with my kids.... was gonna head out for First Night festivities.... but remembered my daughter likes to crash at 8pm sharp.
She was fast asleep at 8:02
So me and my son Matt are enoying TV, fresh baked cookies with gourmet icecream while we veg out. | |

Its 01:50am here, I spent the evening with my Wife and Kids, we all started the evening playing on the Xbox Kinect, but being old and fat like I am that wore off and I spent the next couple of hours sat in front of my PC watching Prince live in Tokyo 1990 while sluggin down the Wine
Now, I am listening to Michael Hedges while my Family are in Bed and I am drinking Pear Cider as I ran out of Wine......My Wife is gonna kill me as it was for the Dinner on Monday......
I rang my Mother at Midnight, to wish her and my Stepfather a Happy New Year........... They had gone to bed early.............. OOPS !!! Life is short, don't be a dick.

I watched some fireworks that were 31km away they looked great but without the sound it's kind of without any impact  Also waved at passing motorists and jeered when they didn't honk their horns. Juvenile  My sister told me to call her at midnight if I had any bubbly so she wouldn't be drunk on her own, but aside from a light beer with dinner I couldn't be bothered. a whore in sheep's clothing | |

It's 9:30, and I'm sitting here watching a Big Bang Theory marathon.

I was at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, WA. A friend talked me into going. We were supposed to see The Spinners but it was just too crowded. The food was amazing but I despise gambling. What a waste of time and money.
But we ended up at the space needle in downtown Seattle right before midnight and the fireworks were beautiful. We found a spot on the top of a parking garage about a block away. Then we went back to the casino.
I didn't have one single alcoholic drink and I still had a great time.

The smoking and the noise was irritating. 
I just got home and I'm too tired to post pics. 
But as I was coming home I saw a horrible accident about two blocks from where I live. The entire street was blocked off by police. I saw a car slammed into the side of a building and they had sheets draped over it. 
I was with my best friend and family at a last minute get together. It was the most fun I have had in a very long time and the last time I can remember being truly happy. I have had 3 hours of sleep and have no idea why I am awake now. | |
