Are u sheltered? Question of the day
IF there's one thing I can say I learned about myself this year is, how truly sheltered I am at times. On the org I meant so many different personalitites, I've also learn alot either if it was a good thing or bad... but I'm not afraid 2 admit that even though I sometimes appear 2 be wise I'm just a sheltered little girl in my own little word... so I was wondering about anybody else, do u often feel as if no matter how long u been in this world, u still feel as if ur sheltered?

Sometimes I feel that I'm a bit sheltered...if only because I find myself often in such disbelief when people do or say some of the things they do and say.

I guess it's easier to retreat into your shell rather than face a situation that makes us uncomfortable. we all do it from time to time.

I can relate lisa. i just came out of a very sheltered lifestyle, having been married quite some time, AND b4 this i was living at home with my parents. so, 4 the 1st time in my life, really, i am on my own, 4 real. it is quite an adjustment, although during the marriage the bulk of the responsibility was mine, so it really PREPARED me WELL 4 THIS, however i believe i WAS rather sheltered (protected-so 2 speak) even so. always having a "back-up" if i screwed up. having that "back-up" was nice at times, but not worth the loss of myself it was causng. so no i dont feel very sheltered right now, but thats cool. i can finally explore the "REAL ME". better late than never!!! May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love.

i am as unsheltered as it gets... shit, i've made it my goal in life to unshelter as many people as i can, for better or worse... people need to know what's out there- good & bad... naivete can be a deadly thing sometimes... ... Mr. Ellis Dee-licious, the Official NPGigolo

Good topic...and yeah I can say I've been a "bit" sheltered aka "Slystoneish". It really 4 me adds a real personal layer 2 my sense of self. More of a personal understanding about where I'm at in this space N' time, & how I feel in my heart and mind.
But time waits 4 no one right...& the world just keeps on turning* So I really try gaining some true wisdom out of these times when things are like this...Take a positive experience out of it...It fuels the poetry thats within I find*
