Yes. I've been a Warriors fan since 1992. Even had season tickets at one point. No need for you to toss in the insults. If you hadn't fallen asleep, or if you'd watched all three games this season (along with about 30 others, which I have), you'd know that the Warriors are playing a damn sight better than a good number of other teams. The playoffs are not out of the question this year.
Also a Lakers, Bullls and Trailblazers fan, in that order. And a big stink face to anybody who says you can't be a fan of more than one team. It ain't that hard.

People think if you like more than one team, you're a traitor... Whatever, like who you like...

What insult(s)?? "Enjoy it while it lasts"? That's just some friendly advice.
I'll be around when the playoffs start..........

My Grandfather was a HUGE Lakers fan, particularly after they moved to Anaheim when I was in the early single digits. Throughout all of my earliest memories I remember him screaming at the TV (particularly if the Knicks and Celtics were playing ) when the Lakers were on.
My Mother and Father were Trail Blazers fans. They even attended a finals game in 77 when they won it all. So those games were on in that home.
I got into basketball on my own when I was 12, in 1984, the year Jordan joined the league. Every kid loved Michael Jordan. I stuck with the Bulls for a long time.
We moved to the Bay Area in the late 80s and by the early 90s I became a Warriors fan because all my friends were. Hard not to get into backing a team when they're local and you're sitting around partying while the games are on.
So I'm for the Warriors no matter who they are playing, the Lakers if they aren't playing the Warriors, the Bulls if they aren't playing either of them and the Trailblazers if they aren't playing any of the others. Its always made sense to me - never understood why people have such a problem with it.
Whatever, more fun for Cerebus!

I'm a Nets fan....a girls gotta get her fun when/where she can in this situation.....have mercy

At least the Nets have made it out of the first round of the playoffs in the last 25 years.

True that but it's just respected less. Just like folks who jumped off the Bulls bandwagon after the MJ era onto the Lakers bandwagon during the Shaq-Kobe era i can't respect that. That's just me though. I like the Miami Heat and what they are doing but i grew up a Sixers fan and will always be one so i won't go out buying a DWade or Bron jersey posing as a Heat fan. I don't get down like that but to each his own. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I feel ya. | |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Well, I've never bought ANY jerseys - not really my style. Plus, I've been a lovin' all these teams for at least 20 years. Some 25-30 years, or more. I'd never start closely following another team at this point.
Besides, with League Pass you can get a taste of all of them during the season, instead of just catching some Thursday or Sunday games.

I've only had one jersey in my life and that was Jordan's Bulls one lol

I have a Jordan street ball. That thing is still sticky and still has good color. Had more than one person try and "disappear" it at the courts.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
You know folks will stick you up for anything with Jordan's name on the motherfucker.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Can't believe folks acted the damn fool this past weekend just for a pair of damn Jordan tennis shoes. I have a sky blue pair i got as a gift 5 years ago and i've worn them a total of 4 times. I ain't fighting over shit on Black Friday and i damn sure ain't fighting over no damn Jordans. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

Yeah that was fucking stupid. Over some Jordan's. Jesus. These broke ninjas complain about shit but will be quick to go to the store over 5-month old Jordan shoes.

The amount of violence this world has witnessed over some footwear is unfathomable. Just, completely dumb.

Woot! | |

Ok.....per Yogi Berra "it gets late early"......there are more words, but that's all I need to make my point. The Nets are 1 - 2 and it already FEELS too damn late this early in the damn season!!!!!
And now this damn Knicks vs Lakers game in on...... Is there anyway they both can lose?
I think I'm going to get on the OKC bandwagon now.....

Oklahoma City did its thing tonight.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
It was a nice game. They're still an incomplete team, though. Not sure Westbrook will be there after the trade deadline.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I forgot about the trade deadline...
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Oh yeah. There's still a lot of changes ahead because of the shortened preseason. Pretty sure the Lakers are still going to make a big change.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Yeah this should be interesting... I'm kinda excited due to the shorter season...

Maaaan. Uptown is NOT going to be happy.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
So much for that newfangled Knicks 'defense'. And why the fuck is Toney Douglas chucking up so many shots??? Get the ball inside godammitt!!
I'll say it until the cows come home. This team is going nowhere as long as Pringles is the coach. Never liked him or his system.

It's not that Westbrook cannot be a great player on a championship team.
It's just that Westbrook is not that player that OKC needs to win a title now. He reminds me a bit of Kobe in the late 90's/early 00's.
He will sink their very realistic chances at a title in 2012, just as he arguably did in 2011.

Knicks offense is - iso Amar'e, iso Carmelo or chuck up threes. No movement, no cutting, nothing. I thought Pringles is supposed to be an offensive guru.
