To leave the past and regrets behind for good....and to believe that love will happen for me. Or to believe in love period.
Everything else, the eating habits, going to the gym, I've been doing that since August with positive results. So that will continue... [Edited 12/21/11 6:21am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I want to get my condo in order this year. I have a handful of projects that I’ve thought about or started and never finished. They will all be finished this year – hook up my dishwasher, get my shelves up, find an island for the kitchen and turn my bedroom into a real bedroom instead of a quasi-storage room with a big bed in it.
I also want to start a regular yoga practice again. This will be a bit tougher as I pay a gym membership and have outgrown the “beginning” class but don’t care for the instructors of the intermediate class. So I may have to go on my own or find another studio. In any case – I want to get that figured out.
I’d also like to lose another 30 pounds but I said that last year and it didn’t happen. I do want to continue to eat well and find new ways to exercise I enjoy.
I'm also starting invisalign on January 4th. Hooray! |

I will be losing my job next week so the obvious one, GET A JOB! But I do want to take advantage of my time off and do some things that I felt I didn't have time to do before.
*Cleaning my house from top to bottom. Taking inventory of all my stuff and getting rid of all the junk that just weighs me down. Finishing up some at home projects.
*I want to get on the right track to whittling down my credit card debt.
*Losing weight and being healthy is also something I hope to do in my time off. Establishing a routine so it becomes a habit and taking that into my new job. Drinking plenty of water. I hate to set a weight goal because I feel so much pressure by having that number hanging over my head, but ideally I would like to lose 50 lbs next year.
*I want to experiment more with cooking, coming up with new healthy dishes. Challenging myself with more complicated entrees.
*Get most of my scrapbooking updated. Get a head start on birthday and Christmas cards.
*Read, read, read!

my husband is doing his general ed classes first, then he's transfering to a baptist seminary to become a pastor. it's what he's always wanted to do since he was a child. i told him he is never going to be truly happy until he does what God gifted him to do. the dollar a day idea did help, thanks for that. i am going to school to get an english degree, it's what i enjoy, so i thought i should go for something i love. and if we one day move back to brazil, i can teach english there. thanks for being a great friend! To get back on my diet and lose this damn weight I've gained so I can get back to being a whore.
To continue to be just as bold and outspoken as ever but bolder just to piss those off even more that don't like it.

1) I will stop threatening to fight obnoxious children at check-out lines and restaurants, at least those who look like they might kick my ass. 2) I will be less insensitive, which means I will take up lying. 3) I will stop performing citizen’s arrests on people who wear jeggings/pajama jeans, pajama bottoms or slippers to the store. Instead, I will discreetly report them as shoplifters to security in hopes that they are escorted away for questioning and removed from my sight. 4) I will resist the urge to crash my vehicle into the back of another when I see a religious or political bumper sticker that doesn’t just express a thought or belief but tells me what mine should be. 5) I will be kinder to people with bad hair.

Alright let's see...
1) Get a 4.0 GPA in Spring Semester. I got 3.88 this time. Not bad for first semester, eh?
2) Get a dancer's body. I'm getting leaner every day! Although getting a man with a dancer's body ain't a bad deal either.
3) Read more classical literature
4) Continue eating healthy and finding/inventing clean eating recipes.
5) Drift towards more vegetarian eating habits.
6) Try out new things...travel more if I can afford it.
7) Listen to more music, discover artists I hope to deem as "good" or ever "great"
8) Drink less soda, and coffee.
9) Make the world a better place, or at the very least, my small corner of it.
10) Tell my family I love them more often.
11) Tell my friends I love them more often.
12) Regain my faith in romantic love
13) Do more volunteer work
14) Start a compost bin for biodegrable foods rather than just throw them away.
15) Watch more movies.
And I'll probably think of more later on...I'll add on if I do. The salvation of man is through love and in love. - Dr. V. Frankl

I already started on my quest and 2012 will see me on my quest to turn my front room into a room fileed with AWESOME. I already sold my horrible couch and recliner on eBay and it's already feeling so much better! I'm going to rearrange and reassess the wall unit as a place to store my gear, perhaps remove the old fireplace and patch up the wall and get myself feeling OWNERSHIP.
it's not my only goal, but it's one that I need a swift kick in the bum to get a move on, posting about it here will make me more likely to get on with it (hopefully) a whore in sheep's clothing

Hmm I'm not a big fan of the New Year's Resolutions cause I always say that I have to be able to run 10 miles at the end of the year and I always fail. So the last couple or years Ive skipped the whole resolution-thingy.
But this year I decided to do it again but with a different mindset.
1) Start running two days a week 2) Attend a yoga class once a week 3) Start saving my money (Ive been spendning a bit too much this year) 4) Start saying yes again (Ive always been a yes-person but after starting law school Ive said no more times than yes and I find that really boring) 5) Start eating more healthy 6) Try regaining my trust in love (Ive never had a proper boyfriend but all the guys Ive met have been assholes so Ive never wanted one - hopefully this year I'll actually meet someone)
Edit: OMG I just saw myself from behind and I look terrible! I gotta lose some weight! So thats my New Year's Resolution.
