Oh John... disbelief ...John, John, John...you're going to hell for that, and it'll be filled with Charles Fazzino art (and nothing else) for you to spend eternity looking at.

What?? It would be counterproductive to tan a child for a St. Jude's ad is all I'm saying.

I'm just pointing out facts here. hmph!

As long as my hell-suite is not filled with Thomas Kinkaid art. whew

[Edited 12/19/11 13:22pm]

...actually, Fazzino's new line I heard is going to be recreations of Thomas Kinkaid winter landscapes in his neon pop-up 3-D.

I have a couple of very attractive Italian friends that have beautiful Olive skin. I always ask them WHY they get tans when they have an awesome skin tone. I was looking @ a couple of photos of them and they look like Black women when they tan....

Yay, but the fake tans I've seen don't look anything like the shits posted here. It doesnt have to come out as extreme orange.

@Pickle Who uses bleach to make their skin lighter? The only times I've ever heard of that happening had good reasons behind them, but never for a cosmetic "I wanna look a few shades lighter," I think theres better methods than bleach for that.

You weren't aware of the Ambi product line??? There's been skin lighteners (bleaching creams) before there was Pond's cold cream... shit... I think it's in the colorstruck bible under the paperbag test section...

bleaches aren't just for asscracks... folks used to actually use it in hopes of getting rid of raccoon eyes, dark spots from blemishes and black cheeks. Even skin tone is what all brown folks aim for. Some of us tend to be multi-toned, and dark blotches on the skin are a no no no!

Disgusting!! Orange skin only looks good on oranges. Black/brown/white/olive is where it's at. smile

There's nothing wrong with changing one's skin color if you're going for a new look but this is too much!

I'm white and I've bleached my face before. When your skin becomes stained from acne it's the only option you have left. I get it lightened during microdermabrasion. But I'm just trying to go back to my pre-acne skin color (like when I was 12 lol).

Im not talking about bleaching dark spot and acne scars, I have acne scars all over my back and shoulders and face, i use chemical peels and skin Toners to get rid of it. I talking about the people who want to go from Zoe Saldana to Anne Hathway.

If you're grown you don't need to try and go back to anything 12.

I'm sure you're fine as you are.

may answer nay. here's one why.

Bad Side Effects of Fake Tanning Spray

Many people want to be tan. Lying in the sun can cause sunburn, and long-term effects of sunbathing can cause your skin to age prematurely and can cause skin cancer. Tanning sprays seem to be safe, but there are some bad side effects that you should be aware of prior to using them. They can cause itching, rashes, inflammation of hair follicles and dry skin. In addition, they offer no protection from the suns rays.

Dihydroxyacetone

(DHA) in fake tanning spray can cause dry skin, contact dermatitis, inflammation of hair follicles, skin irritation and rash.

Allergic Reaction

You may have an allergic reaction to DHA or other chemicals or preservatives in fake tanning spray.

Sunburn

Fake tanning spray does not provide protection from the ultraviolet rays of the sun even though it darkens your skin. If you don't wear sunscreen over a spray tan you could get a sunburn.

Inhaling the Spray

While DHA is approved for use by the FDA, it is intended for external use only. By inhaling the mist from the spray, or getting it in your eyes, you may be causing yourself damage.

Caution If you do decide to use fake tanning spray you should avoid getting it on your eyes, lips or mucous membranes.

Really??

If someone is dumbass enough to think they can't get sunburn because they have a fake tan they deserve to spontaneously combust as soon as they walk into sunlight.

I saw a special on TV once about poor women in Jamaica who use toxic chemicals to lighten their skin in hopes of getting ahead.
