Bullshit! PCs are user-friendy. The real problem is the Microsoft Corporation......oops, I mean the Microsoft Plantation products has been total crap in the post-Window XP era.

Most PC users should stay with PCs. Just remove Windows and install Linux Mint, the most popular & most user-friendly Linux distro ever (yes, more so now than Ubuntu!). wink

you know you want one!...go on treat yourself... wink

And you should've known by now that Linux has gotten better.

I don't really get all the problems people say they have with PCs.

I've used them both and they are about the same IMO. At work we have both, and actually the Macs have needed replacing more often.

I've always had PCs at home and other than a couple blown power supplies ($35) on my Dell and my FrankenPC, no problems. My Mac at work is much the same.

I guess that is a danger, but I've never had a virus either

I have a nice mid-to-high end Acer laptop. But I also have it hooked up to an external monitor, a flatscreen via HDMI, and a pro audio system.

The VAIOs are definitely nice if you want something premium. I saw a Vaio Z in the store and it was definitely a quality machine.
