question for men on making girls cry Men, what do you think about/feel when u do or say something to make a female cry? Do u really feel bad about it but don't want to say anything, or do U just think she needs to suck it up and get over it? **************************************************

Or Dan.
But I repeat myself. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

When something I say makes something cry, I apologise, because making someone cry is never my intention. I try to elaborate and rephrase what I said to make them understand better. If it's someone I really care about, I give them a long hug.

If I didn't say anything wrong or mean I don't feel bad about it, but I feel sorry for that person.
If a person is only trying to dramatise situations and play that Hollywood shit on me, I'm out the door immediately. No time and no energy for shit like that.

I must admit that women's tears work on me. Even if we're having a fight where I'm totally in the right, I usually mellow out if she starts to cry and end up trying to console her. Luckily I've never had a girlfriend who's intentionally (in a manipulative way) used that to get her way.

When I was young, I always acted tough in front of boys. I just didn't want them to see me cry. I never showed my vulnerable side.
Somehow, I became emotional since a few years. Now I cry like a baby. And I don't mind.
However, I don't cry over something a boyfriend tells me or about relationship issues. Because I appreciate honesty. Maybe I'll tear up, however, I'm still to proud and afraid he would react to my tears as if I'm weak

It really depends if they are being manipulative or not. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I never used to cry at all...then I was the kind of person that would only cry when really, really frustrated.
Now, I break down easily if I feel mistreated. In no way is it manipulative thing, I just have become very emotional and when I feel really hurt, the tears just start. I guess I am just a broken and sad girl that can no longer hide her emotions.

what do you want in this situation? to be comforted, to be left alone, or some other option? everyone's a fruit & nut case

Or you are just more real and true to your own emotions nowadays.
I find crying nowadays not a bad thing anymore. Better than the stuck up tough facade of my younger days.
Sorry to hear you had a rough time.

I used to want to be left alone because tears used to be mostly out of anger, but now it's out of sadness so I would rather
1) feel that my reason for my reaction was at least understood by the person that hurt me (I will always explain why I am upset)
2) if they are truly sorry for hurting me, yes, I would prefer to be comforted

I personally don't feel nothing. If she deserves it, then I don't feel nothing. A lot of girls need to stop being too emotional and grow the fuck up.

I feel you on this but I'm directing it towards men. I'vebeen attracted to many emotional dudes that likes to throw fits, whine, cry, feel "hurt" or whatever when I say some not even remotely hurtful. But I would apologize if they really felt offended but sometimes they just act like a bitch and that's when I walk away. surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water
I ain't felt this way in years...

If I can make a woman cry during a casual conversation, we're breaking up immediately.
If I'm fighting with a woman to the point that she's crying, we're breaking up immediately.
I think that answered the question.
