They most likely will. Just about everyone's reign as champion after cashing in Money in the Bank has sucked. JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!

This is just their way of doing what they did at Wrestlemania 20 when they had Benoit win the WWE title and Eddie Guerrero be the World Heavyweight Champion, only on the opposite side of the spectrum. Those two were the internet darlings of the wrestling world back then and the sentimental choices for champions because of their hard work and their great skills. Now, of course we all know what happened with those two, but with Punk and Danielson, they're the complete opposite of what happened with them, though they are this day and age's internet darlings of the wrestling world. I guess in this PG era they're in, they want to project decent-living champions/faces of the WWE, and nothing gets more clean living on their roster than those two.
Now, I say all this, and they could have Danielson lose the belt within a month and basically make him a paper, transitional champion and not make him the "face" of the Smackdown brand. But either way, it's good to see a guy like him win the belt, especially with the career he's had. He's one of the ones who worked their way into the WWE the hard way.
Still downloading the PPV, so I haven't seen anything yet. I'll give my thoughts on the whole thing once I get around to watching it (and tonight's Raw).

I still have hope for them turning Cena heel. The WWE is officially selling anti-Cena shirts. Might as well capitalize on all of the hate he gets, eh?
This is from Cena's Twitter talking about feeling "disrespected":
John Cena has continued to tweet on WWE's new Anti-Cena t-shirts.
"They have wanted too since 2008. I told them no. Finally I just said I dont care. Im fine with the way things are. Some like me. Some don't."
When Cena was asked by a fan if he felt disrespected by the new t-shirts, he replied: "Agreed. But WTF. Ignore it no longer. Its out there so those that wanna be like that should be able to voice their opinion. Like I said doesn't change me one bit. Stay true..always have.. always will"
When another fan asked Cena about the possibility of WWE releasing some Anti-Rock t-shirts, he replied: "I can tell u right now….that would never happen"
Interesting that they also didn't use him for the PPV. Could be more ammunition for him in the storyline for when (if, I guess) he turns heel.
And just because this shit is funny and I 110% agree with it :

Linda left her husband of over 20 years, paraded around Miami in mini skirts and low cut tops (who wants to see Linda Hogan half naked), took 70% of his shit then got with her daughter's former classmate THEN wrote a tell all book. That's an attention hound for yo ass
and you have credibility when you admit you were once married to Brutus The Barber Beefcake. That's worse than saying you let Virgil or X Pac beat the cakes up "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I called this shit. That was a relationship due to fail... in comparison I hope X and his wife can patch things up. But without a reality show present.

Now there's word going around that in the latest "cut-in" segment, which shows the girl and boy in a classroom in black and white, Chris Jericho's name was on that marble notebook, but it was also scratched out. So, the rumor is is that Stephanie is bringing Jericho in to take the title and the phrase "Best in the World" away from CM Punk. And she'd be doing this, I guess, as retribution for the shit he said MONTHS ago about her or maybe what he's doing in the company. Interesting theory, but I don't see how ANYONE could see what in the hell was crossed out on that notebook, unless MAYBE they had a 72-inch HD TV or some shit. Who knows. I was looking at some shitty avi file, so maybe it was clearer even on regular TV.
We all know that SOMETHING has to come in and present a real challenge to Punk for RR next month (seeing as how Del Rio and Miz are old hat threats that have been beaten to death, IMO), and I've been saying all along it's Jericho, cuz the promo kept saying he's coming to reclaim what's his, and the first thing I thought of was how Punk calls himself the "best in the world", something Jericho used to always say. Hey, Jan 2 is only two Raws away, or maybe even one Raw away if they on't plan on doing shit for next week's show since it's the day after Christmas.
Also, was it me or did the crowd on Monday NOT give Punk, Bryan, and Ryder the raucous ovation he expected, seeing as how they were in Philly after all? It was like he was trying to coax them, and they made noise, yes, but not as much as you might think, considering their indy background there. Oh, and Ryder really needs to work on his live mic work, esp if he's going to try to run with the big dogs.

Samoa Joe Speaks Out - WWE Debut?, TNA Future, MoreHere is a recap of AllWrestling.com Week In Review exclusive podcast interview with TNA's Samoa Joe hosted by Dan The Cannon.
On TV wrestling: "TV wrestling is very flash, bang, get it going. I've been told by many people in creative that those wrestling fans love the wrestling but it's the other fans that don't understand what a wrist lock is etc. I have had my disagreements on this. I think that the art of professional wrestling speaks for itself. I think if you are good enough professional wrestler you can tell your own story regardless of what extraneous feuds you have going. Fundamentally we may differ on that."
On Bruce Prichard being the head of creative: "TNA put me in the main event picture pretty early and these guys have been around just as long if not longer in Storm's case. I'm very thankful to see those guys where they are right now from a personal standpoint."
On not being in the world title picture: "It's always rough not to be in the world title picture but at the same time right now we are finding new talent and establishing new characters. TNA gives me opportunity to work with tremendous young talent. Playing a part in developing young talent is rewarding."
On whether he would jump ship to the WWE: "I'm still with TNA; we have a fantastic financial agreement. The relationship between me and TNA has always been great. I'm the type of person that really lives in the moment. I don't put too much into trying to build scenarios that are bad. As long as I get an opportunity to wrestle and wrestle great people then I have the greatest job in the world."
On Stone Cold saying WWE should sign Samoa Joe: "That was one of the greatest compliments ever given to me in my career by far by one of the greatest athletes in the industry. Just hope that TNA sees that and we can take it from there. I'm big on loyalty. Some people are of the thought process that if you don't like something, you quit. You go somewhere else. That's just not me. I think it's silly. I think it's shallow and tawdry. I don't think I'm done with what I want to do in TNA."
On his shoot on Scott Hall during turning point 2007: "There was an incident where Scott Hall no-showed. They handed me the mic and said 'get him'. That's what I was told. I went out there and got him. I ruffled a lot of fathers that day, in particular Kevin Nash. Kevin knew about the demons Scott was facing. None of us knew the extent of Hall's issues."
On Matt and Jeff Hardy: "I'm ecstatic for Jeff. I've never seen him more healthy and look so much more alive. God bless Matt. Matt is battling those same demons now. I hope and pray that he makes it through. At the end of the day, wrestlers are human beings. These are real people. No matter how much you hate their antics, no matter how much they disgust you, as a person, as a responsible human being I would never wish death on these people."

Mick Foley talks WWE's 'Tribute to the Troops' and return to wrestlingLast Updated: 5:07 PM, December 16, 2011 Posted: 12:11 PM, December 16, 2011
“The guys and women appreciate that we get out there to the forward operating bases that the other entertainers don’t get to. One guy had a great quote ‘These other guys, they only go to country clubs, they go to Anaconda. Only WWE has the blank to come out on the front lines,’” Foley said.
Heading to the operating bases and sometimes even the front lines is not always safe for the Superstars, and Foley called the experience of being in war zones “sobering.”
“It’s dangerous... when you’re putting on a helmet just to land and the plane is spiraling down because it’s harder to shoot a plane out of the sky when it’s spiraling,” Foley said. “In successive trips we were within 100 yards of a shelling, people took cover and had to put on their vests and helmets in the mess hall. We got pretty close to the action.”

Ultimately though, Foley believes that getting to visit the soldiers, even those who have suffered injuries, is a good thing and something more people should try and do.
“It’s good to see first-hand the sacrifices, it brings the action home in a way that reading about it or hearing about it in the news does not I think everyone should have the opportunity,” Foley said.
With Foley back in the WWE, he is surrounded by roster of some of the most popular superstars of this generation. One of the biggest names in the WWE, CM Punk, has a wildly-dedicated fan base and is one of the marquee figures in the business. Punk himself has noted that he is not the “ace” of the company, much like Foley was during his reign.
“There are some [similarities], but I would say that he’s more valuable to the company than I ever was. I always thought of myself as something of a supporting player, albeit a good one. He’s a main event superstar and has really caught fire in a way that not many people have,” Foley said.
Foley says he roots for and is even indebted to fellow Long Island native Zack Ryder, a WWE superstar who has used an internet-based series to become one of the WWE’s most popular personalities.
I do [root for him]. I called in a big favor and Zack helped me out with a fundraiser for a group that I did called Holiday Magic. I’m indebted to Zack for helping me,” Foley said. “I love the idea that it’s happening so fast, it’s like a rocket ride and it’s gaining momentum. Even people who weren’t in on the YouTube phenomenon are seeing this really colorful, really talented character who is absorbing it all and having the time of his life. I’m a Broski, I’m not ashamed to admit it.”
With stars like Punk and Ryder coming into their own, Foley believes now is a time unlike any he has ever seen, including the “Attitude Era” where last generation’s superstars became larger than life.
“I honestly cannot remember the last time so many great young stars were hitting their stride simultaneously. You could say in the late ‘90s there were a bunch of guys hitting their stride but they had been around for a long time, guys like me, Austin, Triple H.” Foley said. “These are younger guys who are really clicking at the same time. I’m talking about Cody Rhodes, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Wade Barrett, Sheamus, Punk. I think it’s an exciting time to be part of the WWE universe.”
As for his return to the WWE, Foley simply said that he is “thrilled” and that “it feels like I am home.”

Oh, I'm SURE that Dolph Ziggler is gonna be the favorite for the 2012 Royal Rumble. He lost the US title and the world title scene needs a heel NOT named The Miz or Alberto Del Rio
AND HOW MANY TIMES CAN BETH PHOENIX FIGHT KELLY KELLY, EVE, AND ALICIA FOX? "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Lol!! I forgot all about ol' Broadus Clay. They've been promising his debut for WEEKS now!!! How said is this company?? Can't nobody take what they say seriously because they never deliver what they say they will.
Remember the whole Cole Challenge? Not that I wanted to see it, but they kept saying it would be the following week, but it took 3 weeks for it to finally happen. And, Broadus, of course, was supposed to debut back in November, and now he ain't gonna do shit until at least next year. Andy's ass can stay the fuck down in FCW for all I care. No one takes his ass seriously either.
