They better not even attempt to remake A League of Gentlemen! Somehow I don't think that sense of humour would do well across the pond? Anyone in the states ever seen these characters from Royston Vasey? Pure genius & gut wrenchingly funny! Do you get The Mighty Boosh in the states? Another great comedy in the UK, but very weird. Not as weird as A League of Gentlemen though.

I thought this might have been about the invasion of Iraq before I clicked. Either that or the Dallas remake. Which I'm actually quite looking forward to. The first three 'seasons' of the original series were incredible TV for the time, like an oil wars Godfather, with Jock as Vito Corleone and his three sons each exhibiting a unique trait of the father. Bobby still looks beautiful too, if a bit rubbery.

and The Office.
I've never watched Shameless...I don't believe their culture should be celebrated.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I don't know who played the Sheila Jackson character in the British version, but no way could she possibly be better than Joan Cusack.

Besides, without Steve and Fiona, your version totally suffered. Let's face it.

You totally got us on Prime Suspect, though. Christ, what a mess THAT one was when Americans tried to do it.

No, maybe you should tell British tv producers, creators, writers to quit selling the rights to their shows, for a quick Hollywood buck.
Hollywood loves to "reboot" any popular TV show or movie...and turn it into utter shite, as you Brits say. ~Using the Fat Albert emoticon 'cause no one else is... ~

I haven't seen the British Version, but the US version is a great show. Emmy Rossum is hot as hell as Fiona, William H. Macy is awesome as Frank. Lip is great, and the rest of the kids are, too.
It's a good show, sorry Brits. Can't wait for the new season on Jan. 8th. JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!

Couplings U.S. version was bad too. But The Office and Three's company are good, if not better than the Brits versions. [Edited 12/9/11 23:08pm] 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
