Perry said he will not only be the CEO of the new airline, but also will be the CFO, the CIO, the Director of Human Resources and, of course, will pilot many of the AAA flights.
That's clever.

Tyler is not ballin' like that. Those corporate suits wouldn't allow his ass in the door. No matter what offer he put on the table.
Really? As long as the money's green, why would they care?
Possibly the same reason NBC would not sell to Cosby?

Ok,
I'll bite.
When did Cosby attempt to buy NBC, and why was he rejected? I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. |

In the 90's (but my memory is dim, so please don't trust my dating . What I do remember clearly though is that in a tv interview he said in the end he just could not get up enough money. He was like, in hairpin reach...but the dream ufortunately eluded him.
Part of me always wondered how that network would have turned out had he succeeded, especially given the direction tv shoes have gone today. |

Yeah, it was '92. Here's a New York Times article about it:

So he wasn't turned down by GE, NBC's parent, he just couldn't raise the cash to do the deal. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think. |
