I'm still waiting to get a turntable so that I can play all my old vinyl.
I'm thinking of getting this one;
$200 @ Target and records from vinyl to CD.
Don't get that one. We bought it for my Mom a couple years ago because she no longer has a turntable (but wanted to listen to some of her old records) and was just starting to buy CDs. It looks nice if you have someplace to put it, but its barely loud enough for one room and has ZERO bass response. Unfortunately is has no outs - no way to run it through an amp or add external speakers.
All the parts do work, though. CD, record player, tape player and radio.
Edit: It also has an MP3 player in jack - but its never been tested.
I was afraid of that. All those features for $200 seems too good to be true. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! |

Yeah, and you can't wear vinyl as eyeglasses either!

I've got a couple of hundred CDs and only about 70 LPs, but LPs are by far better. You can keep and play them forever if you take care of them, have more space for proper artwork, and, most of all, sound better than CDs. |

Purplejedi,I recommend that you get a good USB turntable.This is the one I bought:
You can hook it up to your computer/laptop and record vinyl records. |

Yeah...I suppose I should just save up and get something of better quality.
I'll google the one you have.

I hooked it up to this but if you don't wanna spend all that money,you can just get a receiver and a few speakers.

I have one of these but it doesn't record. I think I got mine from Ebay about 6-7 years ago. |

I was just about to say...that thing doesnt look like it will have a good sound system on it. Thing about having Vinyl is also having a good speaker system AND AN EQUILIZER. I would just buy a single Rrecord player with some outs...hook it up to an EQ and the speakers run from that.
This way when you record your music from vinyl you can control the treble, mids and bass to get the ULTIMATE sound from your records Linns and 808s just dont sound good from a bad system. Better off with the CD hunn
