Those Ex-cowboys are really having a positive impact on the Bears this year.

Hurd, Barber & Williams. What a triplet of knuckleheads.

Knucklehead is an understatement! I just read about Hurd's problem. Why is a man making over $650,000 a year selling drugs???? Even if half of that salary is taken in taxes he's still living better than most!!! WTF???? WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I knew him....I would pop him upside his head like a child.....which he is obviously still is!!! In addition to being a damn fool!!!

I don't get it. Unbelievable.

Meanwhile, no NFL team will have a perfect season this year, as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Green Bay Packers 19-14 while the Indianapolis Colts finally won their first game of the season by beating the Tennessee Titans 27-13.

What a wonderful performance by the Giants against a lesser opponent. They don't deserve to make the playoffs.

I knew this would probably be an ugly game but wtf was that shit the Steelers did before

the half letting the clock run down from 39 seconds to 4 with one timeout left. Big Ben

or Tomlin didn't have sense enough to use the one timeout they had left. eek

It's crunch time. punching bitchfight The Battle of New York is raging on. with the Giants clinging on to a narrow lead over the Jets. While the winner of this game is not guaranteed a playoff spot, the loser will most likely see their playoff hopes end.

In the meantime, the Cincinnati Bengals kept their playoff hopes alive by beating the Arizona Cardinals, who were officially eliminated from playoff conention with this loss. And the Tim Tebow magic was nowhere to be found in Buffalo, as the Bills stomped all over the Broncos. Detroit can earn their first playoff spot in 12 years with a win over San Diego today.

Can't put this on Lovie. What can you do after losing your starting QB & RB? Maybe the blame goes to the front office for not signing better backup QB. They put their faith in Henne and it backfired.

A real coach KNOWS what he has on his roster.

But it's not always the coaches' choice as to who is on that roster.

But Eli Manning did an awesome job of bringing the Giants back last night. thumbs up!

If not for Aaron Rodgers having a sick year, Eli would get serious consideration for MVP. Look at the roster changes and injuries he's had to deal with on the O-line and at WR. Without his security blankets(Steve Smith & Kevin Boss), he's found new ones in Hakeem Nicks and Jake Ballard. As banged-up as the Giants are, they went toe-to-toe with Green Bay. We'd be scary if Tuck & Osi were 100% healthy, and if Terrell Thomas and Domenik Hixon weren't gone for the year.

The question for the Broncos is can they score with the Patriots? Can they deal with Welker and those beastly tight ends?

WHAT?!!

Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Cam Newton all rate better than Eli without question.

Eli isn't close to MVP except in his own locker room.

I was wondering about the Saints, now they are back to form. Green Bay won, but I am seeing ways to stopping them. The Saints could do it.

Baltimore and the Steelers are playing much weaker, so my Bengals have a real chance. Houston lost to fucking Indy! Oakland is doing good. Tebow is toast.

Either Oakland or Cincy will play Saints. Bet it. lol

How about Jerome Simpson's stunt touchdown!

Pittsburgh(if they beat the Stains)can get a first round bye

then screw Cincy and Bmore.

Thank these stupid-ass rules changes for that. Defenders can't touch QBs & WRs like they could in Marino's day. Marino will always be the man.

It sucks us Giant fans have to wait all friggin' day for this do-or-die game. The question is which Giant team will show up - the one that beat New England or the one that lost to Washington? That has to make any real fan nervous.

I have to agree here. I believe the media would like to see that due to Eli's lineage and there is

no Peyton this season. Eli has had a good year but nowhere near worthy of MVP talk and that's

even if Rodgers was having a Super Bowl hangover. That game versus Washington alone would

have killed any MVP talk if there was serious consideration. Saying Eli Manning is worthy of MVP talk this season would be like saying Bruce Arians is the offensive coordinator of the year.

The Giants team that beat New England doesn't exist anymore sad . Hopefully the team that beat Dallas a couple of weeks ago shows up. Also, Osi will play today. That should help.

This NFL regular season is drawing to a close, and the New York Jets stumbled their way out of the playoffs as well as the Oakland Raiders. The Baltimore Ravens held off the upstart Cincinnati Bengals to land the numer 2 seed in the AFC playoffs and a first round bye, but the Bengals had no reason to cry, since the Raiders loss sent them into the playoffs as a wild card and the number 6 seed. The New England Patriots had to come from behind to secure the number 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, which landed them a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. But can they play enough defense to secure another trip to the Super Bowl, or will they exit out of the playoffs in their first game as they did last season? Meanwhile, it appears God does not love Tim Tebow above all others, but He apparently has mercy on him, as Tebow and the Denver Broncos won the AFC West title despite losing a really ugly game with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Green Bay Packers won a shootout with the Detroit Lions even though they already had the number one seed, a first round bye, and home field advantage wrapped up. No one wants to play Green Bay in the snow an ice during the playoffs, but despite being the defending Super Bowl champs and having the best record in the NFL this season, their defense has been shaky. The San Francisco 49ers held off the St. Louis Rams to secure the number 2 seed in the NFC, a first round bye, and home field for at least the divisional round of the playoffs. The New Orleans Saints earned the number 3 seed, while the Atlanta Falcons jumped out to a huge early lead to secure the number 5 seed and a wild card spot, thus avoiding the Saints in the wild card round. The Saints will now face the Detroit Lions.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears won their final game of the season in a gritty, ugly battle with the Minnesota Vikings, prompting their fans to ponder a series of "what ifs" through the offseason. (What if Jay Cutler hadn't gotten hurt? What if Kansas City didn't score that touchdown on that hail mary? What if Marion Barber hadn't run out of bounds late in the game with Denver out of time outs? What if Josh McCown had been made the starter a couple of games earlier?) And in the final battle of the "Suck for Luck" sweepstakes, the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Indianapolis Colts, thus allowing the Colts to secure the number one pick in the NFL draft. Do the Colts now select Andrew Luck and trade Peyton Manning? Do the Colts select Luck and have him as Peyton Manning's understudy? Will Peyton Manning be healthy enough to return next season? Do the Colts trade the pick down and address some other weaknesses or maybe even select Robert Griffin III?

And with the New York Giants spanking of the Dallas Cowboys, the 2011- 2012 NFL season has concluded. Here are the seedings for the playoffs.

1. New England Patriots (13-3)

2. Baltimore Ravens (12-4)

3. Houston Texans (10-6)

4. Denver Broncos (8-8)

5. Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4)

6. Cincinnati Bengals (9-7)

1. Green Bay Packers (15-1)

2. San Francisco 49ers (13-3)

3. New Orleans Saints (13-3)

4. New York Giants (9-7)

5. Atlanta Falcons (10-6)

6. Detroit Lions (10-6)

Saturday, January 7, 2012

Cincinnati Bengals (9-7) vs. Houston Texans (10-6), 4:30 pm EST (NBC)

Detroit Lions (10-6) vs. New Orleans Saints (13-3), 8:00 pm EST (NBC)

Sunday, January 8, 2012

Atlanta Falcons (10-6) vs. New York Giants (9-7), 1:00 pm EST (FOX)

Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4) vs. Denver Broncos (8-8), 4:15 EST (CBS)
