Did You Ever Receive A Gift That Still Had The Price Tag On It?

I received a very nice Christmas present from a lady who I do pet sitting for. I just noticed that the price tag was still attached to the gift. giggle Of course, I would never say anything to anyone who has unintentionally left the price tag on a gift, since I know that it was not done on purpose.

I remember a long time ago, when I was little, I gave a gift to my dad at Christmas, but I forgot to remove the price tag. doh! I remember my dad peeling the price tag off the gift, sticking it onto his sweater, and jokingly saying, "That's how much I'm worth!" lol lol Since then, I've been very diligent about removing any and all price tags off any gifts before giving them to the intended person.

Has it ever happened to you, when someone gave you a gift, but forgot to take the price tag off?

Yes I have and I always tend to over analyze it which stresses me out. So I make great effort to make sure I remove tags when I give gifts, besides it was drilled into me when I was young that it's extremely rude. I like gift cards less stress.

I received a gift from a lady one time and it still had the price tag on it. I didn't even see it and she said "Oh Andy, give me that real quick, I left the price tag on it". She left it on intentionally and it was killing her that I didn't notice it so she had to play it off and say something and pretend she didn't know it was on there. If you knew this lady personally, you would know she left it on intentionally for me to see it.

Andy is a four letter word.

Mom and I were preparing loot bags for my 9th birthday once upon a time. She was making sure every few minutes that I was taking the price tag off the goodies. Very important lesson.

Yeah, but I still feel weird about gift receipts though I include them if it's clothes I'm giving as gifts.
