Trailer For Joss Whedon's The Cabin in the Woods

Storyline

A group of friends at a cabin retreat scratch the surface of something so massive and horrific that they can only begin to fathom it as time quickly runs out.

This is really not a movie I would typically want to see, but I feel obligated to check it out because of the Joss Whedon involvement.... Maybe I will wait for it to be on dvd confused

If you will, so will I

I saw this posted on Fran Kranz's Facebook page. SO cool to finally see this project approaching release! dancing jig woot! boogie I'm finding I'm not much of a fan these days of certain horror genres being sent up in Cabin in the Woods, but it will be interesting to watch reception of Whedon's mashup and new spin on these.

Have you read the screenplay, Identity?

Seems like an expensive experiment featured in the film clip-I hope the storyline accounts for the pricey equipment/cabin/underground.

It reminds me of the evil villain that has an escape route that involves the top of a mountain moving, by the off chance he may need it. It would seem a bit pricey to achieve and most likely not needed.

The story very much accounts for it all (albeit in a way that'll make some people go ohgoon ). I'm surprised the trailer gave up so much of it, though. It betrays the most important plot point.
