You should read the civil case transcripts. This wasn't a "gravy train" situation where these boys had Eddie as their benefactor. He preyed upon their mothers first and then upon them. He is what one would call a groomer. Once he gained their trust, he got that ass and then made them feel ashamed and as if no one would believe them.

The only thing they can be faulted for is not coming forward sooner. This is not all that different from the Sandusky case. Adult man in a position of power and respect takes advantage of boys from broken and fatherless homes and impoverished communities and makes them feel like they can trust him and that he has their best interest at hot.

Its a big mess alright. Hopefully society will wise up and start cutting these mofos nuts clean off!

^ Sandusky's face, voice and name make me puke. Have you seen the old footage from, i guess 10 years ago, where he was rough housing way too hard with pre-teen and teen boys. I mean he went beyond being friendly, way too much hugging and grabbing for my comfort. You could see he was ....enjoying himself. Even if I didn't know what I know now I would still find it weird.

Exactly! People also forget that Long forbade those boys to date girls. They had to take some pledge, which sounded like marriage vows, to him and his youth center or whatever it was called. Now tell me that doesn't sound crazy.
