So what was happening or supposed to be happening at the
Park that night?

Was it at this year's celebration? Or at one of those
fridaynite parties last year??

I am not sure if I know how to post a picture here on the threads, but I will give it a try... wink

This picture was taken from a flight back from Canada, an amazing sight to see (my god), I actually titled it "God's Gift"... it gave me a sense of empowerment/peace, I was appreciative to see such a sight as well as capture it infinitely.

By the way, I am no professional photographer wink, I simply heart all natural occurrences in life. rose

It was this past years cele. I had missed the 1st half of Victor Wooten in order to venture out and capture that.
It was rather fun and a lil scary, as well as breathtaking.
The cool thing about it all was there was very lil rain if any. But when the lighting came, it lit up the whole sky, took my breath away and made me weak at the knees. I musta snapped about over a dozen pics...but this one was my fav. It showed the thickness and power of the bolt. My other 2 friends that were with me were snapping pics as well, unfortunenatlly theirs did not come out that well...

We were running thru the streets to our cars that nite. Screaming and laughing, we ran along the sidewalk being sprayed by the rotating sprinklers on the lawn. That was one quick cool down and a very intense storm! lol

This one my nephew heart (age 11) took with my digital, we were trying to capture the full moon that night, beside the lit (bank) building. His movement while taking the picture caused the light from the cars and the moon (bright musical shape at the left of the building) to look like music notes, I love it! rose

Such beautiful pictures, I just love nature. Lightening, thunderstorms, snow...people get so nervous or angry when it's not 75 degrees and sunny. Me, I just love the snow and man did it snow out here in N.Y. and I enjoyed every single inch of it and just soaked in the beauty of God and nature...with a cup of hot chocolate. It was Cocosweet!boxedboo
