Bruce has been my favorite all time martial artist until 2 months ago. He was finally replaced by Donnie Yen.

I've only had a couple of real heroes in my life, and Bruce Lee was my first and probably greatest, only to be replaced by (...or added with) George Clinton later in life. I too had Bruce Lee posters all over my walls back in the day, along with the beaded curtains on my room door, black lights, and incense burning at all times. I was pretty bad-ass with the nunchucks as well, lol.

Have a look at Jet Lee, or watch the Ip Man triolgy with Donnie Yen

I'm familiar with Jet Lee, and "Ip Man" has been on my "To See" list for some time now, I'm sure Donnie Yen is awesome. But there will always only be ONE Bruce Lee, and ONE 1970's decade (...which was no small part of the charm of Bruce Lee's appeal - personally speaking). You've made some great recommendations though, and I will definitely follow-up on them.

I did not think I'd live long enough 2 see someone replace Bruce......but Yen is the TRUTH. [Edited 11/7/11 8:31am]

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had nice words for Lee in his autobiography, 'Giant Steps'. They trained together, and Kareem was in 'Game of Death'.
Lee was supposed to get the starring role in the ABC tv series, Kung Fu. The execs felt audiences wouldn't accept an asian man in a leading role, so they gave the part to David Carridine, and made his character biracial. Kareem said Lee was stung over that.

Yen's great, but he's no Bruce. The only fighter i have seen that offers something worthy to Bruce whilst at the same time offering something new with no wire work or trickery is Tony Jaa. A back to basics, brutal, emphasis on single moves rather than choreography, raw fighter and at the same time he preaches honour and humanity. Bruce, still the master, would be proud. This Post is produced, arranged, composed and performed by WetDream

Tony Jaa? I need 2 check him out.

Bruce Lee movies are like porn. It's not about the plot or the acting...it's about the action.
Bruce Lee moved like no other man at the time and there have been very few since. Pure grace and strength. I'm firmly planted in denial
