We haven't put up our tree yet

Lord, I think we've literally forgotten how close it it to Christmas time.

this upcoming weekend is a great time to do it

I was going to take new photos of my tree, but they would have looked just like the ones I took last year so I'm reposting those instead:

I just put mine up this morning. The spirit just didn't hit me till today. Better late than never. This webcam takes horrible blurry pictures though.

I couldn't imagine how a black Christmas tree would look good but the way you've got it decorated with the purple lights looks absolutely stunning.
