Security has been completely revamped on the set of "Love & Hip Hop" -- including a total ban on all glass and metal silverware -- after several bloody, face-stomping, weave-pulling fights among cast members.

Fabolous' baby mama Emily Bustamante tells TMZ, the massive blowout between Jim Jones' fiancee Chrissy Lampkin and Juelz Santana's lady Kimbella Vanderhee during Monday's episode was the final straw (watch below).



We're told producers are fed up with all the injuries on set from girl-on-girl violence -- the bloodshed, the stitches -- and have decided to institute an all-plastic policy while camera are rolling ... plastic cups, plastic knives, plastic everything.

But it doesn't end there -- we're told each cast member will now be accompanied by a personal body guard wherever he or she goes.

A rep for VH1 had no comment.

I saw that hot mess. Even though I like Chrissy (despite the fact that I think she's delusional in thinking that Jim is going to marry her) I felt that her beat down on Kimbrella was uncalled for. The way she sucker punched her, you would have though Kimbrella was talking to Chrissy and not Emily. Though I get the point of why she did it, and how tacky Kimbrella came off with her "confession" to Emily IN FRONT OF ALL THE LADIES...there was no reason for Chrissy to beat the girl down over what she said. Just sayin'.

As for the glass ban, that's ridiculous. If you have to do all of that, then shut the show and production down. I watch it for but it's not a show that I would absolutely be disappointed if they yanked that shit off the air either.

But you know that was at the psychological root of what made her do that . That's why most men out here treat women like the bottom of their shoe and then they get all surprised when they run across a real woman who won't put up with it and kick their sorry ass to the curb. But you right, I don't know why in the hell Chrissy felt that proving her "Harlem roots" in a hotel room over dumb shit would draw her closer to a ring. I believe it was Ottie that brought up a good point, that Chrissy's reaction was more than likely due to past flashbacks of groupies and jumpoffs through the years that she had to endure being with Jimmy and took it out on Kimbrella, though it still don't make it right and it definitely wasn't her best hour. I believe a man does want a woman who has a backbone, knows how to stand up for herself and her man, but don't no man want no woman who sucker punches females for petty reasons. And men DO think about that shit too. At the end of the day it's still unlady like. And being that they have no children and I'm thinking one day he will want some, does he really want the mother of his children acting like a raging beast for all the world to see?
