I killed Santa

boxed

I got so sick of the rugrat leaving his DVDs/Computer games lying around, out of their cases (often a few centimetres away from/ OR ON TOP OF said cases mad ) that I spat the dummy and told him that mum was Santa.....

It was so unexpected, he was gobsmacked!

Even though he hasnt really believed for years! rolleyes

He now calls me the Santa Killer evillol

He is 13 in Jan, and off to High School next year, so this was going to be the last year I did the Santa thing anyway.

Has he learnt from this? Sadly, no pout

Pre-teens sigh

My kid has been questioning the validity of Santa since he was 4. It simply does not make sense to his eerily rational mind.

He is 6 now and I am thinking this might even be his last year. He says he believes, but he's always got a look that tells me he knows the real deal and is just humouring me. lol

Thats how both of mine are too....and they already started questioning it this year too ofcourse....next time they ask me I'm just gonna tell the truth. I'm actually nervous about it though, cause I KNOW my son is going to be upsset with me for lying all these years. ......and I really have no excuse. I think I'm just going to tell Madi the truth right from the beginning.

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure
It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

my kids are 9 and 8 and still believe in Santa.

My husband is like Santa - he comes once a year and fills me stockings..

BOOM BOOM... the old ones are the best...lol

My son has questioned why santa is different in the shopping malls.... They are his helpers, someone has to keep the elves in line at the North Pole

He has known for yrs, but hasn't told me as such, and as he has ypunger cousins like siblings I've kept it going....til now lol
