Twilight Zone Marathon

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man.

It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity.

It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge.

This is the dimension of imagination.

It is an area which we call "The Twilight Zone".

A local station here in L.A. (KTLA) runs a marathon every Thanksgiving. A few favorites.

The Big Tall Wish

[img:$uid]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b59/jbodine/Misc/tallwish.jpg[/img:$uid]

...with Ivan Dixon.

That episode always stood out for me as it featured Black actors in the lead roles.

Other episodes that featured Blacks with significant roles:
I Am the Night - Color Me Black - Black pastor Reverend Anderson (played by Ivan Dixon)
The Brain Center at Whipple's - Black electrician (played by Thalmus Rasulala)

Uncle Simon...

...Bar-ba-ra, If you can prevail upon that Raggedy-Ann carcass of yours to exert itself, I'd like a cup of hot chocolate.

Steel...

[img:$uid]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b59/jbodine/Misc/tz-steel2.jpg[/img:$uid]

...Lee Marvin as Battling Maxo

Living Doll

[img:$uid]http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b59/jbodine/Misc/livingdoll.jpg[/img:$uid]

...Telly Savalas - My name is Talky Tina and i'm going to kill you.

Big fan of Ivan Dixon, loved him in "A Patch of Blue", and of course "Hogan's Heroes". Plus, he's a fellow Aries.

I watch this every night. They show three episodes back to back. Way ahead of its time and Rod Serling was amazing. He wrote many of the stories.

I concour with all of that..

Many of the stories inspired Films in the 70's and the 80's..

Poltergiest- little girl lost

Living Doll-list them all..

and many many more..

did you like 5 characters in search of an exit?
