THINGS NORMAL PEOPLE DO BUT YOU DON'T...
- Play cards... I don't know one single game of cards. - Talk on the phone... Rarely..The last phone call I made was last week and lasted under 30 seconds. - Cook... hardly ever. Eggs here and there, burgers, etc. - Do laundry... I don't right now. Sometimes I have to take it over, but it's never for very long. - Clean... For some reason, my friend doesn't trust me around a vacuum or a broom. - Shop... Maybe I shop less than 10 time a year for stuff.. usually gifts - and I hate every second. - Drive... Not allowed to drive due to low vision (and couldn't care less). - Eavesdrop... until recently.

- Drive (I know this shocks Americans who absolutely need a car to get anywhere, but I live in Europe and I can survive just fine without knowing how to drive. I will learn though).
- Drink coffee (I've never even tasted it).

- Drink coffee (I've never even tasted it). all that stuff on your resume and you can't even drive? bwah hahahahhahahah! I can drive, just not well enough to own a car or to have a driving license Also I always live in very central locations, so I never need a car, I'm always a stroll away from my workplace etc.

Many people who live in metropolitan areas do not own a car or learn how to drive..such as Manhattan etc. There is delivery, adequate and faster public transportation (subways etc). I always thought in those areas it would be a burden to have a car ( paying to park your car at your residence etc, the traffic) "Climb in my fur."

I think that depends on how much the urban core is inhabited. In some cities, relatively few people live downtown -- it's mostly a place for work and entertainment. My city has a very bood balance for that -- unfortunately our politicians are letting the public transit system fall apart. [This message was edited Wed Feb 19 17:16:58 PST 2003 by Aerogram]

Wouldn't want you to think I live in a pigsty, never get new socks, etc. Eaveesdropping is a new thing. My hearing is improved, so I'm starting to overhear conversations, usually just a couple of words here and there.. .

Not at all! In Europe we have a concept called "public transport". It allows you to get from A to B without owning a bit metal gas guzzling monstrosity I live in the good ol US OF PHUCKING A and I do not drive my truck...I have my liscense and know how to drive, I just do not want to pay extra to rent a parking spot, plus I blew out the engine in my truck drag racing, but that is another story. Public transportation is a good thing, especially in chicago...traffic here sucks.
