She wants an iPod? Maybe it's best to simply ask her then if she wants a Classic or a Touch?

As for storage capacity the devices usually get more expensive the better it is. So what you want to go with depends on your budget.

What else do you need advice on? Colour? I'd go with anything except what XxAxX says. smile

You would need 5 Iphones to equal one ipod. The Classic is much cheaper for the memory you get. 35G vs 160G

Thank you

My daughter wants one and I have NO idea what to get/look for/buy ...

Suggestions please ?

I would get her the touch unless she needs a phone then go with the iphone. The classics have much more storage but the touch does cooler stuff lol It has wi-fi, you can take pictures, shoot video, download apps, bigger screen

I will always prefer the Classic for 2 reasons, firstly I hate touch screen and secondly the memory on the Classic is so much bigger, though there were rumours circulating recently that the Classic might be discontinued soon sad

I love my iPod and can't imagine living without it. I don't use it to watch anything, so I prefer the smaller ones. I have the Nano, which is perfect for me. I use it daily.
