I love just about every fruit I've ever had, so it's easier for me to say what I don't like.

Cantaloup - not a fan

Some of my favs are:

raspberries

blood oranges

red delicious apples

grapples

Woohoo!!! Ambrosias are available now. They weren't looking so good, haven't tasted them yet, hope it's just first batch issues.

To this day I've never had them, and I want to try them. I could try making them myself but I'd prefer to eat some that somebody else who knew what the heck they were doing cooked so I know what they are suppose to taste like.

I'm telling you. Once you taste them, tell the person you're with to stand back 'cause you'll wanna slap someone! Depending on where you live, some restaurants serve them as an appetizer. Certainly in late July or early August, you should be able to find a restaurant that will serve them. I fry my own. Really very simple, but the tomatoes must be in season or they'll taste like cardboard.

Oh yeah. Found someone, I already knew, ha. They promised when their's grow or something.

love freshly cut pineapple but Im too lazy to cut them haha ha ha ha

I love fresh pineapple... fresh pineapple flares up my allergies and trigger asthma attacks.

I think they are too acidic for me. I still eat them though. boxed

I've given it some thought after reading this thread, and;

#1 - I think that fresh cut pineapple is my favorite fruit.

#2 - I haven't had any in AGES because I, too, am too damned lazy to cut 'em.

#3 - I need to eat more fruit.

#4 - my second favorite is probably mangoes. The big, sweet ones cut so that they don't stick between your teeth. But I wish I could find a green mango so I can cut it up and mix it with salt, pepper, vinegar & a touch of tabasco.

#5 - RufusRawfield; dude...you got the "munchies" or something?? weed

lol No, that looks good though. It's a type of apple. I think it was developed in the 90s. It's sweet and crisp.

Have never even seen one, let alone tasted one.

My mom raves about these from her youth down in Honduras.

I dunno.... apples I guess.
Tho, peaches are cool, too. So are bananas.
But what I really like are them Hostess Fruit Pies.
I used to eat those alot when I was a kid.
Can't remember if I ever had one as an adult.
Do they still even make those (and when I say "they" I mean food manufacturers)?
I don't recall seeing 'em in the grocery stores lately. Though, that could be b'cuz I rarely find myself near the pastry snack isles. When it comes to snacks, I'm more into chips an' shit. Fritos, Doritos, Funions....I could go & on.

Y'know.....
this thread has suddenly got me thinkin'.....
I could really go for a Hostess Fruit Pie right about now.
Though, I imagine that they gotta be fattening as a mutherfucker.
And to be totally honest (& I know that I haven't been here that long still, but still, I feel that I've been here long enuff that I can be totally honest with you guys....grouphug) I don't burn calories as substantially or as efficiently as I used to.
Particularly, as when I was a kid.
I used to move around alot back then. So partaking in a Fruit Pie every now & again wasn't much of an issue.
Now, one Fruit Pie, & my New Years resolution would completely disintergrate, had I made one.

Fuck.

Now I'm fixin' for a fuckin' Fruit Pie.

Well, at the time of this post, it's 8:45 in the morning (at least, where I'm at).
I guess I'll go to the Mac Donald's drive-thru & get a Sausage McMuffin wit' Egg.
I know it's not a Fruit Pie, but still, it's probably just as fattening. If not worse.

i luv the taste of really ripe pears. the ripeness produces a succulent sweetness that does something great for my taste buds.

mad All four I bought were soft and bland, like a bad red delicious, must be what they are hybrid with, not like what I'm use to, grrr. sigh I guess I have to wait a bit til they reach their peak in the season. None of the varieties are looking too good, that's what making me very frustrated with grocery store shopping, I know the good stuff and I'm not seeing it.
