I love just about every fruit I've ever had, so it's easier for me to say what I don't like.

I've given it some thought after reading this thread, and;
#1 - I think that fresh cut pineapple is my favorite fruit. #2 - I haven't had any in AGES because I, too, am too damned lazy to cut 'em. #3 - I need to eat more fruit. #4 - my second favorite is probably mangoes. The big, sweet ones cut so that they don't stick between your teeth. But I wish I could find a green mango so I can cut it up and mix it with salt, pepper, vinegar & a touch of tabasco. #5 - RufusRawfield; dude...you got the "munchies" or something?? No, that looks good though. It's a type of apple. I think it was developed in the 90s. It's sweet and crisp.

Have never even seen one, let alone tasted one.
My mom raves about these from her youth down in Honduras.

i luv the taste of really ripe pears. the ripeness produces a succulent sweetness that does something great for my taste buds.

All four I bought were soft and bland, like a bad red delicious, must be what they are hybrid with, not like what I'm use to, grrr. I guess I have to wait a bit til they reach their peak in the season. None of the varieties are looking too good, that's what making me very frustrated with grocery store shopping, I know the good stuff and I'm not seeing it.
