It's official...

I am definitely moving to Vancouver in the summer of 2013.

She has convinced me.

Not really...

My other choice is the UK since I am eligible for duel citizenship.

Well if you ever feel the need to explore your roots in an inexpensive way with free accomodation and a genuinely friendly, informative Scotsman as tour guide acting in a purely platonic, sincere manner then gimmie a bell. I know the phone will never ring, but the offer is genuinely there. Life's too short to fuck about.

What's the big deal about meat and oats? We deep fry chocolate bars and wear skirts. And haggis is what makes us interesting?!

Bagpipes were originally a sheep's stomach with three of its rib bones (with the marrow sucked out) stuck in. We'd get a tune out of anything in Scotland.

That video was so cute.

It does look like a v. cool city. Actually it looks like Sydney but with weather more suited to me and has the mountains we have to travel two and a half hours to get to.

I might consider going to see Vanc myself.

Are you really moving to Vancouver?? 'Cuz I'm south in Seattle.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Admittedly, she is very sexy. And so seems Vancouver to be.

And if your' going to the UK, London seems to be nice too wink

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

That's the most awesome music video I have ever seen. She's brilliant.

Like the others on this thread I'm wondering if you're serious about considering Vancouver? As you know I lived there for two years, and since it still has a special place in my heart I've kept going back there nearly every year since then.

In a way I hope people won't discover how nice it really is. I want it all to myself.

I am serious. I need a real change. The change I made coming out here was a mistake. I want to go forward in life, not backward.

Don't say you know it will never ring because the minute I can get some real extra cash I am going all over Europe. Fuck all this living for everyone else.

I'm sure a move to Vancouver would be a big step in the right direction. It really is a wonderful place with unique qualities that I haven't seen anywhere else. Don't expect it to be bustling with big city energy like Toronto though. It's more of a small town that just happens to be big. I bet M would love it.

Ottawa's pace was perfect to raise a kid so if it's similar to that, I'm happy.

My first step is to get out there for a visit. I'm hoping early in the new year.

Oh, it's livelier than Ottawa for sure. At least judging by what I saw during my two day visit there.

Interesting that you might go there early next year. I might possibly do that too, although more likely closer to the summer. Either way I need my Vancouver fix pretty soon.

(By the way, I sent the video you posted to a Vancouverite friend of mine and she laughed her ass off)

When your phone rings, you give me a ring and I'll come over so we can take her together. How's that for a plan?
