With it being so chilly of late my nipples have been rock hard alot of the time and when my shirt brushes against them it drives me wild which isnt so great whilst working.

Are all mens nipples so sensitive or am I just a freak

Yes. The worst example I can think of happened when I was a kid. In the summers, when you go floating around in an inner tube with your chest rubbing up against the rubber, your nipples end up totally raw by the end of your day of tubing.

my nipples run hot and cold. frequently, they're very sensitive and i have to push my boyfriend's hand away when he merely grazes them. sometimes i don't feel a thing there. i've even fallen asleep while he played with them once
