I eat more when I am bored, or if I have had a few Drinks.

I think maybe I am a bored eater, and an unconscious one (meaning I zone out in front of the TV/computer and snack)

pout yes.

Also a bored eater, nervous eater...feh. Breaking the habit after so many years of it is hard. Lucky for me, my father collected a lot of workout equipment over the years. And he's being pretty supportive and whatnot, bringing lots of fruit and salads home. Once I get a nice fleece jacket, we're supposed to walk/power walk 3 miles a day on some wooded trail.

Mya

I looove to eat in general, it doesn't have anything to do with my emotions lol

I'm not allowed to eat gluten, dairy, wheat, sugar or carbs in general, and I'm not allowed to drink alcohol so it doesn't matter how much I eat - everything I put in my mouth is good for my body nod

When I am in a crappy mood,I always want something sweet.

Are you an emotional eater?

What do you usually gravitate toward in those times?

[Edited 11/14/11 18:45pm]

finally got my emotional eating managed down to a minimum. especially when i found that feeding the emotion with sweets made me feel crapier the next day. sugar (for me) is so bad.

when i get emotional, i go for the sweet fruits like, strawberries, peaches, plums, grapes, w/small amount of dried pineapple, and maybe a half sand. i also have apple juice on the side.

here's a short side bar on sugar http://www.healingdaily.c.../sugar.htm

i know the link's probably more info than needed, but hey, pls check it out.

Yep, compulsive over or under eating is a way to change, fix, manage, numb, produce emotions. I guess the trick is to manage emotions in a healthier way.
