Uhh... I still have cameras that use film. Shocking, I know. So, yes. But I only album my favorites. I do occasionaly print some to add to the albums as well. There really isn't a feeling that replaces passing an album full of pictures around the room, discussing what they're about, reliving memories, etc.

Yes, but only on rare occasions.

No, but I never have. Ever. Cerebus prefers to keep her personal musings in his head where they remain, you know, personal.

Seriously though, do you have any addresses kept there that you don't have saved someplace else? It is possible to lose that data. Or have to spend a shit ton of money to recover it from your HD. lol

Of course, you may actually be one of those smart people who regularly backs up his important HD info externally, which makes such concerns non-existent. whistling

do u still print your photo's and store them in photo albums??

I still have my "film" cameras but I barely use them anymore. I don't really put photo's in a photo album either, though I should, I have a box of photos that could probably take up 5 photo albums. I really would like to get a few digital picture frames (damn should had checked those out during the holiday markdown's pout) to display my favorite digital photos.

do u still use phone books.... u know the directory type!!!

Yeah my phone company still gives us those, but I don't use them. I usually just look something up on my phone instead. It's quicker and I'm lazy in that regard.

do u still use a journal that you actually have to write in?

Yes I do. There was a time when I would write in it once a week, but those days are long gone. I only write in it when I really have something weighing heavy on my mind to get it off my chest.

do u cook 4 yourself when u r on your own???

Hell yes. And it's getting to the point where I prefer cooking my food rather than eating out a whole lot. My body feels better and I don't feel sluggish at all like I used to in the past when I ate out nearly 5 to 6 times a week (and gained 40 pounds in the process). Since I started being dedicated to cooking and eating my own food for the majority of the week (since last August), I've lost 18 pounds and I plan on losing more. lol

what other still do u's do u have????

hmmm Have to think on this and get back to you.

  • I only print out photos when I'm creating something like a scrapbook or a collage for my "music room". I keep backing up my iPhoto on a Kodak flashdrive that I bought. Which reminds me... I need to update it. hmmm
  • I have the phone books that they leave in my driveway, but I don't really use them. Although, I'm finding that online white pages/yellow pages are starting to charge... They'll say they located who you're looking for, then redirect you to a page for your credit card info. confused
  • I was writing in a journal when I was "going through something", but I don't use it as much.
  • I'm always alone... I try to cook everyday.
  • I haven't bought a newspaper since I first moved into my house (3 years on the 16th! giggle) reading

"Love Hurts.
Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

do u still use phone books.... u know the directory type!!!

... No, I throw them away when I get them...

do u still use a journal that you actually have to write in?

... I have never been one to do a journal or a diary.. Writing my feelings down never did anything for me, although I used to write music and I still have all those.

do u cook 4 yourself when u r on your own???

..Yes, I almost prefer cooking for myself cuz I get to make the stuff I love but everyone else hates.

what other still do u's do u have????

... I do still use note pads to write lists and stuff i need to remember, I also still use an address book, Ive had the same one for almost 20 years lol

I still write in a journal. Don't really cook for myself if it's only going to be me.

I listen to cassette tapes in my car! woot!

I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies
Whats it all worth only the heart can measure

Top Three Reasons Why Genesia Doesn't Keep A Journal

3. I write for a living, but have never even been tempted to keep a journal. It seems sort of...I don't know...self indulgent, maybe?

2. How would I decide what stuff to write down? My brain is on fire with a gazillion different things on any given day. It'd be filled with everything - or nothing.

1. I'm going to die some day - and somebody might read it. shake

The last one is a big one for me. I tell people what I want them to know. Leaving behind books full of thoughts and information that I DIDN'T want them to know while I was alive doesn't make any sense to me.

However, that relates a lot to the problem you mention in number two. If I was like, an incredibly focused philospher, or a great poet, I could see the point to keeping a journal. But the random musings of another harried day? Nah. I want to leave those behind and move on to the next one.

I think about what to do too with my stuff, in case I die. Maybe I would keep what is okay and what isn't or something....maybe someone will pull an Emily Dickinson on my stuff if they like it, but it aint all that
