Drive Me Wild-Vanity 6. I own a record player. It's cheaper to buy vinyl when you don't want to buy a CD for one song.

Didn't know that one was out... but I've seen Paul Johnson spin before. He always draws quite a crowd. I'll have to look for that record.

Same here... well, I've got the MK3D, but it's pretty much the same table, with just a few minor changes.

(U.S. readers: yes, it's an MK3D, not an M3D. There's really no difference between the two, but mine is a grey-market import intended for use in Japan.)

I've never had a record player, so I've always bought cd's
for myself.

However, my ex had a huge vinyl collection and so I bought
him a mint copy of "Lovesexy" back in 1997 which he called

"a complete and utter piece of shit and a waste of the
time spent listening to it".

So "Lovesexy" was the first and the last piece of vinyl
I ever bought.
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I love Vinyl. My last purchase was a K-Tel album of 70s "Disco" Hits. It's got a version of Sex Machine I've never heard before and it was $1.00.

That quote about LoveSexy is horeshit, especially from someone who collects Vinyl. If you don't live in the same house, burn his down. He doesn't deserve a record collection.

I have a record player and about 500 albums. I've recently found Controversy, Rave, The Rainbow Children and this weekend I'm picking up the Black Album on purple vinyl. I'm still debating because it's $60 but I've found a blue one on ebay for $50, so I'm all over it.

Already one good reason to dump him indeed.

Plastic? Hardly! They don't call it the "Wheel of Steel" for nothing--it's heavy and built like a tank.

Now, there are various turntables with plastic bodies that rip off the 1200's look, but don't be fooled by cheap imitations. smile
