Gambling...Did you know? Australia has 0.3% of the world's population and 20% of the world's poker machines.
That's an appalling figure... Australia is a cool place, but damn... How many of you gamble? | |

I gamble occasionally, but just for the fun of playing the games, because I know the odds are in favor of the house. I'm a low-stakes player. One time I found a dollar roulette table at a Native American casino in Michigan--I played for a few hours with a $40 bankroll (and walked away with maybe a $20 profit).
We have riverboat casinos in Indiana (which are now allowed to stay docked and let gamblers enter and exit at any time), but thus far, my favorite casino has been Casino Windsor in Windsor, Ontario (Canada). Gambling in Canadian dollars allows me to stretch my bankroll by about 50%. I've never been out to Las Vegas, BTW. Please note: effective March 21, 2010, I've stepped down from my prince.org Moderator position. |

I've been to a casino once, with a group of friends playing the horse-track game (what's it called?) with 1 guilder (0,5$) coins. Started with 25 guilders, earned 10. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Why are you kidding yourself...group of friends...yeah right! Well maybe not friends, more like co-workers maybe. Well not that either, more like people I've seen a few times...OK, they were already sitting there and I joined and started talking to them even though they never said anything back...HAPPY NOW? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
