Lindsay Lohan was released from an overcrowded jail early Monday morning after serving only four hours starting shortly before 9 Sunday night, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department tells CNN.

Lohan, 25, had checked herself into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., after last week's court order that she serve a 30-day jail term.

The sentence was rendered after she admitted to violating her probation related to a necklace theft conviction.

she's been scared straight for sure ~!

Are they not allowed to sent her out of town to a facility that ISNT overcrowed?

The entire California State Justice System is a f**ing joke! If Lindsay was a black woman, they would have made room in that prison cell for her to serve 6 months, never mind 30 days.
