So u mean I was supposed to hand out all that candy to those costumed little people instead of turning off all the lights and locking myself in the bedroom with the bucket full of M&M's?

Uh yeah, that's the general idea, PJ. hmm Santa gonna be handing out lumps of coal to you this Christmas. Taking candy from the babies. lol lol lol Shame.

I bought Christmas cards today filled most of them out today, to mail Thanksgiving. First time I've ever done this, but I'm handing out gift cards this year to eveyone expect, my mother, child, husband and father-in-law. Is it me, are the clothes looking crazier than hell in the stores? I refuse to shop at Macy's, its never gonna happen. I miss Marshall Fields. smile

lol

So then I shouldn't also be helping myself to canned goods that people leave behind in these boxes marked "Poor" or some nonsense like that?

Most people get gift cards to the stores they love.

I make a really good guest. Just sayin' batting eyes

I have a few gifts for all the babies and young children in my family. The children seem to get more difficult to buy for the older they get, but luckily I don't have any teenagers to buy for this year (I stop buying individual presents when they leave school).

As usual I have no idea what to buy for parents and grandparents.

My oldest daughter is really easy to shop for. I have half a dozen things in my mind to pick up when I go to the mall.

My youngest, the complete opposite. She and my hubby are so incredibly difficult to get gifts for.

sigh

I'm firmly planted in denial

I just found out that the company I work for is raising our employee discount to 60% for a month starting next Thursday. That is going to save me a bundle! woot!

Me, too.

The first time I went into Macy's after the changeover, I thought I was going to need therapy. That store is so poorly laid out and difficult to shop. disbelief
