Please Tell Me....

Why am I suppose to be interested, according to every entertainment blog and channel, in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo?

It is a popular book (part of a series) and European movie that Hollywood has remade and is being released this Dec.

I'll gladly admit that I've never seen or read anything in The Harry Potter series nor this one, even if they are good as advertised, I don't care.

I have watched the Swedish film and it's alright. There are three books and three movies, but in my opinion the first movie was the best. The main character was much more likeable on that movie than on the last two.

I will watch the American version just to see if it's any good. But in my opinion most American remakes are pretty inferior compared to the original films.

Me neither. And I can add the Lord of the Rings to that list, too.

But the way I kind of look at it is, if they really are any good then I don't have to be worried about being bored for a long, long time.

Rent the original film versions, they're great films. The first half of the first film is VERY difficult to watch, but they're good.

They're just good books. Why be interested in anything, eh?
