I have watched the Swedish film and it's alright. There are three books and three movies, but in my opinion the first movie was the best. The main character was much more likeable on that movie than on the last two.
I will watch the American version just to see if it's any good. But in my opinion most American remakes are pretty inferior compared to the original films. “The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously.” | |

Me neither. And I can add the Lord of the Rings to that list, too.

the books are great. the author's story is a bit mysterious too. i haven't watched the movies because i don't want to spoil the books' impressions on me | |
