Nope, it's the truth. I know cats in the 135-165 lb. range who lift more than dudes way bigger than them. It's not about size but heart, and Lee had plenty of that. Plus, his diet and training regimen was incredible.

lol Dude...I have my heart set to it, but I still can't even LIFT an 80lb dumbell off the rack...!

faint

But I'll admit that Bruce worked out like a monster, and I shouldn't be surprised that he could curl that much.

I can lift 80lb dumbells off the rack, but only for shoulder presses and light flat bench presses, lol. Go to wiki and read about Lee's diet. Sick. Dude was a freak of nature.

Bruce was a fantastic teacher & martial artists. I loved his Philosophy on life, and his personality.

I do find it kind of ashame there's more Bruce Lee knock off movies then actual films he did.

His death surely had an impact on Chinese Cinema and the kung fu film world..Greedy ass producers wanted to cash in with the Bruce Lee Clones.

Although, Bruce Li was a funny/cool dude..

I've only had a couple of real heroes in my life, and Bruce Lee was my first and probably greatest, only to be replaced by (...or added with) George Clinton later in life. I too had Bruce Lee posters all over my walls back in the day, along with the beaded curtains on my room door, black lights, and incense burning at all times. I was pretty bad-ass with the nunchucks as well, lol.

Have a look at Jet Lee, or watch the Ip Man triolgy with Donnie Yen

Upon your recommendation, just got through watching Ip Man 1 & 2 tonight (haven't seen where there is a 3rd in a trilogy though). What a really cool movie, so glad you prompted me to watch it. It's restored my interest in watching Kung-fu movies all over again. And yeah, Donnie Yen is really good. He embodied a lot of the same principles that drew me to Bruce Lee as well. I also learned a lot from watching these two movies, had no previous idea that Ip Man was the "Teacher" that Bruce Lee was always talking about. It also brought the whole China/Japan conflict into better focus for me too.

from the movie "Ip Man"

But I was wondering, does anybody know the name of this guy? He was pretty bad-ass too (...and funny).

There was so much sexiness on display in that movie!! Bruce of course. But Jim Kelly and John Saxson were sexy as hell too. They couldn't act, but they looked GOOOOOOD! I really need to get Bruce's movie collection on DVD.

Jim did look good. I found a pic of him recently. He was born in 1946 so he's 65 now.

Maaan, I just watched IP Man 1 and 2 this past weekend. Good story even though it was fictionalized a little bit. I had no idea that these movies existed till a co-worker loaned them to me.

The fight scenes are beautifully choreographed and the actors were good too. Donny Yen is adorable and I've been telling everybody about these movies.

I fell completely in Love with Bruce Lee when I was 5 and he played Kato in the Green Hornet. cool
