I Think I May Have Over-Medicated Myself

I am sick. I took two four-hour cold and allergy tablets and a few good swigs off of the NyQuil and sucked on a few Cold-Eeze and now my entire body feels like it is floating.

It's really not a good feeling, but I can't afford to miss work. I think I will ease back on the medication for tonight.

It seems like a lot of people here had it bad a few weeks ago, and my kids have had it off and on... I finally caught it.

You have to pick one of these. I always take as little as I can. Even when I have a splitting headache, I almost never take the adult dose, and often end up taking half an aspirin. Same goes for cold tablets, except in that case I take one full tablet then graduate to two if the cold gets unbearable.

I usually just hit the NyQuil and call it good, but before I didn't have to go anywhere if I was sick. So, I thought that perhaps I would try some other stuff, which I don't usually take. It probably wasn't a good call as medication tends to hit me hard. That, and I took two, and I should have really only taken one.

It is nice though, that since I stopped smoking my lungs aren't on fire right now... yet anyway.

drink plenty of fluids, starting now, to flush some of that shit out of your system. I have a low tolerance to meds and get the shakes badly sometimes even if I take the "correct" dosage so I just start drinking water or juice to flush out. I hope you feel better don't know where you live but my kids were sick all weekend and now I feel crappy too seems like it is going around here.
